I mentioned it earlier, apparently it's being worked on for the next update. Making it a harem wouldn't immediately solve all pathing issues, it would lead to less money for the dev though. Part of what makes Intertwined great is the consequences of your actions and taking that away turns into another generic Pokemon AVN.
i was just reporting the pathing issues. meant the harem comment more tongue in cheek same as dev's use of it in the Yennifer vs Triss in-game comments. maybe i should use;) more often

It's hard to explain it better is just what it is, but is also credit to the author, is relatively easy to write stereotype characters that are anything but, Lexi is a stereotype sure, she just happens to be the stereotype of woman I always loved dating.
I'm out of likes so this will have to do...

This is bullshit! Do they give extra likes if you become a donor? I'm already trying to give them money but, weirdly, F95 is the one place where they actually make it hard to make a donation. All this funny shit going on.. I'm in the middle of a waifu war and I can't vote!

You're in. Will correct the invitation.

How do I become a made man in the Lexi clan?
You're pretty much in. I am putting out a contract on Nathan and Zach, but if you want some practice, take out those douche bags who hit on/bothered Lexi in the bar.

When Zach punched the MC i even wondered if there was some decision i screwed up... once i figured that's just Zach, i felt petty/motivated enough to bang her just to get back at him...
I wasn't super into her back then, "get in line new girl", just doing it for revenge, but she has grown on me since
One of us! (But I may soon challenge Justaphase for the title of Godfather of the Val Family.) :WeSmart::LUL:

I just picked this game up, realize I'm hardly the first. One thing that amazes me is the really complex branching system that the game seems to do a really good job of keeping track of. I did notice a bit of confusion, probably right at the end of the available game I'm assuming based on the gallery. Nothing that broke the game, I was just wondering if this is an issue with my individual playthrough that might mean some flags are messed up.

Likewise, and I think this is just writing (and not really a criticism given my above statement on how many branches this game can take), I was a little interested to see that

I get it, it's a game that pushes you into solo paths and I expected drama when I saw that you could pick back up with her after moving back to Madison Springs without ending new relationships, but I know quite pointedly that I told her I was already seeing someone when she came to visit.

All in all a lot of fun, I see why it's popular.

For some of the characters, relationship point management is critical. If you get over 'x' points, it's assumed you either want to start, continue, or resume, a relationship. It irritates me personally. Layla is one example, if you get over a certain point threshold, it just turns into a relationship... the MC/player has no control over it. Others like Lexi or Erynn are point but also decision based. You could have 100+ Lexi Relationship Points, but if you don't make two decisions you don't end up in a relationship with her. I think there should always be a conscious decision point to enter, or not, a relationship in a game like this. Perhaps, if reaching a point threshold that NPC could ask the MC if they wanted to date, but it shouldn't happen automagically.

As to the coach, yeah, as mentioned it's a variable issue. But it doesn't affect the actual inner workings of the story, and shouldn't break anything going forward. It's just a superficial plane conversation.

And the game has solo relationships as more "happy" non-confrontational choices. You can certainly date many different combinations of characters, several to-date resulting in dramatic encounters. More may happen once Nikki and Cara move to MS. We still haven't seen if Lakeyn and Lexi will have a discussion if the MC slept with Lakeyn before leaving town, as it's been glossed over thus far. And we know Nate is coming to town and Mira expressed interest in coming with him,.so there could be even more with her. It's certainly not building up for a harem game.

Maybe is because I'm older now, so LIs that behave like highschool childs aren't that attractive for me anymore, maybe 'cause most of the activities you can do with her (pre and post actual relationship) are things I actually experienced and enjoyed in real life.

I think she just clicks well with who I was and still am as a man, she might not be the hottest looking, the craziest one or the sweetest one, she just feels "real" and as a consequence the "right" choice.

It's hard to explain it better is just what it is, but is also credit to the author, is relatively easy to write stereotype characters that are anything but, Lexi is a stereotype sure, she just happens to be the stereotype of woman I always loved dating.
That is where I am at with Lexi as my #1 LI.
Everything (the good and the bad) seem to progress naturally in the relationship she has with MC.
Of course, they got physical right away (which can happen, but not the way the VN's portray it, however even that is debatable)
but every interaction they have has both a sweetness/flirty/getting to know each other vibe the way some of my own previous relationships have been.

Everyone operates at different speeds, granted, but her and the MC seem the most natural/organic relationship to pursue.

If there's a sign up button for team Lexi, sign me up.
Full disclosure, its still Lexi-Nikki-Elena (and Iris and Cara get honorable mentions now) for me though.

I'm a "first impression" sort of guy, unfortunately Val made a horrible impression on me when I first played the VN and she popped up, and despite my prediliction for "mediterranean" looking women (thanks Oedipus I guess sigh) I still can't get myself to like her.

Still not sure why, at the beginning my knee jerk reaction was related to the fact she felt way too forced for quite a bit, despite me trying my best to have the MC ignore her.
Then I started thinking she might be Nyx's self insert, even if it doesn't really makes much sense, ultimately ended up on a position similar to yours, she's inserted as a "destructive force", the new bait to bite and create even more drama.
For me, Val is the other end of the spectrum of drama that Erynn represents. That's not to say Val brings drama to the table, just that its there and part of the package (the way I read it, is you can argue that she is someone recovering from sexual assault and thus has major trust issues where males are concerned).

I think both are better friend zoned, however I think Val can be a better/mature friend because of her drama, where Erynn still seems a bit naive given her age and experiences.

Yes you are right, a good part of it is how the story is driven and presented, but many VNs push a lot of LIs the MC's way, I mean also in this one Val is another example, and she's (imo) pushed onto the MC way harder than Lexi, or maybe is just because it happesn later on.

The point is once you take the bait, you get to experience the relationship, and the one with Lexi vastly outclass the ones with pretty much any other LI in any VN I played so far (and it's triple digit).
I disagree about Val being pushed on to the MC. Her romantic path is one of the hardest to get on to, because you need almost every point and make every correct choice while on the bus and at training camp. Otherwise she only sees the MC as a friend.
