About this... after looking at what Melissa says about Ximena... i'm sadly off Ximena is Val's mom club, the timeline just doesn't work.
But since i'm persistant idiot, i'm going to a new club, the "make Ximena Val's aunt" club
Obviously Val's mom is meant to look a lot like Ximena and create confusion... skin, hair, body type... even things like sunglasses they share.
I say great, off course they look alike, because they are sisters (Ximena the younger one).
It also solves "Ximena goldfish memory" problem, since now we can say Val showed those pictures to her mom, Ximena never saw anything.
I would love to give Ximena some "intertwining" and make her more part of the story, so giving her this Val connection would be great.
Maybe we take Val home after the party and both sisters are there
, having dinner with each other.Ximena as aunt could be used to great effect with Val, telling her the dirty things she should do to the MC
And maybe saying that someone as pretty as her going into sports is a waste, and that she should join her in show business

Val seems to have a good relationship with the person she shows the photo to(same thing when she picks her up in her car), and calls her mom without reservations...Auntie.

To be fair, the only reason Erynn is hostaged by the tape is because she wants to be a teacher to young kids and the tape would definitely hurt her chances of that. Otherwise, she probably just knee Ethan in the balls.

still it's completely wrong to give the choice and find out it does not matter what you choose. I thought the choice was for a young man to see his mother going out with another man - not his father and as such she would leave the choice to you - so if you say yes , then she does and if you say no she doesn't - Simple and straightforward.
