Why is it so hard to stay on one path in this game? I tried so hard to just stay on the Cara path and ended up with Val too because I was focused on "stay with adorable girl".

In the Alvarado lake scene, she was wondering if he had had a previously bad experience with relationships. In the Lexi beach scene, even though she was lusting after Erynn, she figured out that Erynn was the girl from the MC's past, and talked to him about his feelings for her.

I would really enjoy it if Iris is brought back all the way in to main LI status. I still think she and the MC make the best couple. So many of the relationships, to me, seem a bit one sided as the MC seems like he could really take or leave any of the main girls. With Iris though... the hook is set deep and they really seem like two suns orbiting each other.

Their scenes are really sweet. They slip back into each other's arms right where they left off - before the non-break-up, of course.

The contrast between Iris's full steam ahead attitude and her vulnerability and uncertainty make for a more well-rounded character.

Just like you, there I was, minding my own business on my Layla path three years ago, then bam, Nyx throws Val right into my sights. I haven't looked back since.
