Ethan said or tried to do something to her. This was after the MC asks her if she's alright and how he was concerned that something had happened to her. You only get this if she helped you with Ethan and his goons instead of John.
I believe that she is afraid to tell the MC because she knows he will do something reckless and likely end up in trouble.

This is another positive about progressing the Blackmail stuff as I think Nyx had bigger plans for Val but that's one thing I must say I was not looking forward to. Even if Nyx does a directors cut version in the future I almost rather see some dark stuff with Erynn or the other girls. Val kind of hits me differently if something were to happen.

I don't want to see any more of Ethan than is absolutely necessary to finish off his dumb plot. It's bad enough that we have to see Erynn get manipulated and blackmailed by him, the thought of any other girls getting dragged into it. She mentioned Lexi, Val and Iris....just no. So I'm really happy that plans have changed.
Let's get to the stuff that Nyx and Intertwined does best, the relationships and the ensuing drama.

To be honest I was practically half-asleep and it was all my puny brain gave me. There was a notable absence of thought involved.
I'm quite disappointed and will have words with it today.
Ethan's dad might be a little powerful perhaps? Wonder if he'll enter the story at some point btw, he's probably our dad's second cousin's lover's illegitimate child's step mom's uncle.

I just realized we need a twin cliffhanger in this game.
Like, we cliffhanger on Ethan's dad being Andres (or Enzo or Santi(this would be insane) or whatever), and everyone is losing their shits. Next episode, he's revealed to be a twin brother.
