Well it can be pretty brutal if you turn Layla down after the club, that's a scumbag move IMO. Also you can scumbag Layla with her own sister.

You can also combo Layla with Nikki/Cara, Gabi and Erynn(at least until Nyx changes this), she just doesn't know what you been up to.

You can scumbag Layla with Alexis, dating both sisters and trying to keep it a secret from them.

I disagree, especially given all you will have done with Layla to even get to that point. Depends what you mean by "deep" do you mean fucking one sister and making out with the other at every opportunity isn't being a scumbag in your eyes?

I agree that at least the MC has the balls to do it if you perfer Elena and not sleep with her so it could be more of a scumbag move. But I think it's still a scumbag move by going on the date and not canceling beforehand. Or you know just not having sex with her let her enjoy the date and don't ruin the night and wait a day or 2 to break the news to her. It was literally the worst possible moment.
Of course there is this choice to end the relationship with another girl. Only it was already made earlier. Now there are consequences.That's my thought as well... of course there's always the possibility that Elena didn't quite tell the truth to Layla, made up some reason for being "sad".
If Elena told the truth, Layla accepted it REALLY WELL, heck they even decided to tease the "unsuspecting" member of the triangle.
Like you say, it would make sense for the girls to be having a temporary spat... but that's not what we saw.
If Elena made some shit up... it doesn't quite make sense for her to be teasing does it?
Nothing has changed, Layla still doesn't know the full picture... so why is she having fun teasing the MC now when she was so uncomfortable being around them earlier?
About it fizzling out afterwards... there are ways to keep the tension going.
Future choices will have to strike a balance so neither girl feels like the 3rd wheel...

Neither can have Layla as the GF and Elena as "someone we fuck on weekends" if you wanna keep them both into it.
About this... a few pages back there was a conversation about how you can't break things up with Layla for Erynn.

The Val-Alexis is the one that is handled perfectly, you can end things with both girls... or you can lie to them both and see what happens.

So in these script adjustments Nyx is planning... maybe this is something she should look at.

Shit, that would be so funny imo. Nyx sets up the Elena solo route now where you have to hurt Layla, but it was a trap. The real way to get Elena is to just go through the throuple and end up picking her, without having to dump on Layla.

Some others are dangerous:
Erynn-Melissa is the nastiest one.
Erynn-Iris can potentially give us the family feud Layla-Alexis didn't deliver.
ASP also promises a nasty conclusion.
Nikki also has SP points since version 13.
There will be some cool moments. Val - Alexis, if you haven't broken up. Layla - Erynn at the party. As you say, Nikki and Cara will potentially come, as well as Mira. The world will burn. And Tori is on the race track If we choose her, we'll be able to fuck her
Didn't Nyx announce she is willing to prevent this cheat path way earlier in the game again now like it initially was, story-wise?
Btw, she completely forgot about the path, where Erynn is still not aware or just OK with the MC who's fucked up with the Monroe sisters. Meaning it's ridiculously unrealistic that Erynn still doesn't know anything from Alexis since Ep9... Even if your MC is just friends with Erynn, it still would have some impact on their friendship. Let alone a romance path.
