Nyx originally planned to have this Ethan story run longer, but she changed her mind recently.

You seem new here(on this thread) so maybe it got your interest, but to those that have been playing this game for a long time it's something that definitely wore out it's welcome.
It simply took too long and we haven't made much(or any) progress towards putting him down.
The Rachel murder being down to Ethan(as always looking for a Erynn substitute) having a "date gone wrong" with her has long been a theory of mine.
It could be the way he goes down instead of getting him for blackmail.

After he goes down i think we might move into girl rivalry and relationship problems.
Plus fatherhood stuff, Andres vs Santiago.

Nyx also has Zane(the surfer dude) as a wild card, he's Erynn's ex(certainly knows Alexis too), and a teacher in the school(and every girl has the hots for him).
And Zane himself has the hots for Nikki.
He can become a factor to cause tension between the MC and the girl he's dating.

Mira has a history with the MC, he took her virginity years ago, and she's not over him.
She wants the MC and has announced plans to visit Madison Springs in the future.
And we know she's willing to fight dirty(with dirty panties ) to get what she wants.

Daniella, i have no idea if she'll get anything beyond "she's Gabi's sister", it is weird that girls are still being introduced...
Flirting with her might make Darryl hate the MC and hurt our chances for the race.

Zach... i hope he gets his comeuppance, painfully.

Mira is also a piece of history that will be interesting. Mira is like hold my beer and watch . I'm also curious how eryn will react to mira.

Emily and Santiago's meetings contributed to Emily and Andres divorce even.

Oh, I meant before they meet up again years later. Emily telling him about MC could be "so let me tell you about the kid you walked away from" rather than "so I kept the kid, surprise".

I'm basically wondering if Santi was just unaware/assumed Emily didn't keep it because of how she was ignoring him, then found out when he met up with Emily again, and stayed away due to Andres' wishes. Or if Santi knew the whole time, and cared more about doing his own thing.

He clearly showed some interest and cared to some degree, since he kept on meeting with Emily to get updates on MC. But it changes how I see him if he knew the whole time or didn't.

Yeah, i don't expect much from here either.
This way if we get to tap that ass, it's a bonus

From what I remember, he needed to think it over, then his parents barrelled in and tried to buy Emily off and make her abort it. Emily is pissed off and ignores Santi, despite Santi wanting to hang out and talk with her. And then he leaves, and their lives move on.

I thought he was unaware of what his parents did, or that Emily kept the kid. But I dunno if I just assumed that.


Iirc, Nyx said she only introduced Daniella because of some confusion with Val, right? People were mistaking her for Val or something.

I think Daniela will just be a side character. Maybe have some wisdom for MC for competing in track, but thats about it.

He did know, but his parents intervened, offered Emily a bribe to have an abortion, and Santi never contacted Emily again. He may have thought she had an abortion, or his parents may have threatened him with disownment. We may find out in the near future. He seems a good guy so far, but his parents are assholes.

He was still in school and dependent on his parents financially. He had a lot at stake, with the basketball team and all. They very well seem like the kind of shitbag rich people that would threaten him about disowning him and taking away his college money. Maybe not. Maybe they told him that she agreed to take the money for an abortion, maybe not. It's just speculation at this point.

We know Santi and Emily got back in touch much later, and were friendly, and that's what blew up the marriage to Andres. We know he knew about the kid, but Andres had an agreement with Emily that the MC would never know, and Santi was probably complying with Emily's request. This is more likely than the other suppositions.

Like I said, our limited exposure to Santi, and what others have said about him, paint him as a decent guy. That could just be a public mask though. Maybe he or Freakin' Zo are the scumbags behind Ethan's shady business. We don't know. Nyx likes shocking us with all kinds of unlikely shit, but the big bad is not going to be a complete stranger, because they're all intertwined, after all.

- If you're on the Layla and/or Alexis path, then the BBQ would be a possibility.
- Or if you have little to no contact with the Monroes, then another alternative is needed.

Either way, Nyx, similar to Iris's flashback, must create two different locations with the same or similar content.

EDIT: Alternatively, Nyx could say to herself, let's not let Santi attend the BBQ because of some business matter and they both meet somewhere randomly, regardless of which path you play.

My guess is that the longer Nyx delays this conversation, the more important it becomes. Some pieces of the puzzle might be coming together here or not.

Alexis barely knows Zach. At best she just sees him as an idiot. If you're not on her route, I don't see why Alexis would even care what's going on between MC and Zach outside of a desire to protect Layla if the MC happens to be dating her. If Adriana explains the situation with the limited info she has, it's all Alexis has to work with.
