Ummm. No. There's underage drinking all over the place in the US. I started drinking in bars and clubs at 13 in NYC (granted, the drinking age was 18 then, and I started getting grey hair that year). College kids drink in bars all the time. In fact, I never got carded until I was in my twenties.

I almost never gamble but I been carded way more for gambling or buying Lottery tickets haha. to be fair I don't drink often either but been carded maybe once for drinking haha

I was 18 or 19 when I was stationed in Okinawa, and I sure as heck drank a fuck-ton of liquor off base in Naha.

I know it is, it's the same everywhere pretty much, even in countries where the legal age is 18. But I meant legally. Also if it was illegal in-universe they wouldn't serve someone like Layla wine at the restaurant, especially with her mom being there.
