Does it crash with traceback.txt or something? If not, it could be anything really, perhaps out of memory issue or something.

No, just freezes for a while and then says that the application in not working and i have to close it. Sorry, can't be very specific, I'm not very tech savy.

That sounds like a memory issue rather than a game issue, try closing as many other open programs as possible while playing.

That's seems like memory issue to me. Renpy can freeze or crash if it runs out of memory. I'm not sure if there can be fix for it. Make sure you close all programs you don't need. Perhaps try the compressed version you can find in this thread, the compressed assets can maybe help you avoid the issue. Not sure how else to help.

Thank you for the help. Still doesn't work, I'll try the compressed version. But it is odd, I've run "heavier" games on the same computer (e.g. Being a Dik)

Can anyone link me to a post detailing everything that was changed in this latest update, if there is one? I've scrolled for what seems like hours but this thread just gets too many posts a day for me to make a progress.

well i use jdownloader and also other than datanodes, there shouldn't be any malwares so try other hosts. only totally free version comes from nyx's hands and for that needs to be supporter).
