I was all on that Nikki train over Val but the beach date or whatever with Val in ep 13 made me change my mind and trade Nikki for a younger Athletic model .

Now that I would love to see. Tori does her usual shit of constantly trying to seduce the MC and Nikki sees it and slaps the bitch. I honestly forget we're still in high school sometimes because of how the MC looks. It's like in Game of Inches, blew my mind that he's still in still high school because of how old that MC looks.
Plus I guess I'm just used to the college VNs, you'd think a dev would want to avoid high school due to age shenanigans.

He is older than HS, he moved around a few times, and probably lost a year because of it. Also, I though this was "college", and he's going to graduate and go to "university" next year.
Is this a Europe thing? In the US we go from HS (four year) to College or University (which is just a bigger College). There are also Jr. Colleges or Community Colleges (different names based on their state), which offer two-year Associate's Degrees, which are lesser than a four-year Bachelor's Degree, generally at much lower per-year costs.

Beats me. The math with the ages throws everything into disarray imo and didn't do Nyx any favors. If it's Europe based schooling then I'd agree, there'd be some college in the late teens and I think Uni starts at 21 give or take a year (someone that actually lives in Europe could confirm).
America? This is definitely high school but not. Val has one parent in Arizona which is why I tend to think of it as being some kind of fictional US.

Yeah, I generally always thought that the US college and the UK university are the same things. Although there are of course exceptions, standard ages would tend to be 16-18 for college and 18-21/22 for university in the UK. Also, we don't tend to have "high school" as a generic term in the UK like the US does, it's usually "secondary school", although some do of course refer to them as "high schools".
