Lexi is a terrible friend, knew who the MC was pretty much all the time. Could have done her supposed best friend Erynn a massive favor on the plane by letting him know who she was and that he "got it all wrong" with Erynn and the confession and how he really needs to speak to her.
But no, she fancied him and decided to go for it herself.
Don't even get me started on the shitty move of telling Erynn she couldn't go to the concert they had planned to go to, all because she wanted to go with the MC instead.
I do question what kind of long term girlfriend someone like Lexi would be. Someone who goes after what she wants, regardless of who she hurts in the process. Even if it's someone she would claim to love, like Erynn.

He's not that much better. If Erynn didnt see him at the club, who knows how long it wouldve been till she found out he was back in town. She basically lost a friend for years because she didnt answer his girlfriend question (which he randomly sprung on her in front of people) fast enough
