Honestly as bad as this sounds I believe that Nyx may have planned for Iris to take Erynn's place as an escort. That she would be willing to do the things with clients that Erynn won't do. Ethan already told John that Erynn is by far his most popular girl. And given how alike they look, he would likely jump at the chance.
Ethan would have tried to "settle" for a better Erynn lookalike than he used last time, or possibly even become infatuated with Iris because of the similarity.
