Depends. In five years, including the first release, there have been 16 releases. That's an average of three releases a year. However, some releases are much bigger and longer. The longest wait so far has been seven months. Last time it was five months.
The dev is rewriting some things because she realized it was a mistake to do people pleasing. As a result, a few things she had planned no longer fit. Therefore new variables are set and the scoring system is revised. For example, it should be possible to go to Iris without necessarily having to be on the Alexis path. Accordingly, every player will have to start from scratch with the next release. I can still recommend that you play the game. If you really like the game, you will, like so many others, play it again and again from the beginning. It doesn't matter if you have to do it with the next release anyway. But we don't yet know when that will be.

I do think it's about time the Ethan shit was wrapped up though. It's effectively hamstrung progress with Erynn for like 4 years now.
Changing how things are ordered in the story is vastly less problematic than changing the narrative of it.
Well, I just finished playing the game, not long ago, skipped Alexis story entirely and went for Layla (Oh dear God... Layla and Elena, those two... I can't get enough of them) while playing goody 2 shoes mode, and want to re-play it, now with Alexis plot, so that is on my to do list.
Regarding Zack and that little bitch of Ethan... they can eat a Komatsu 930E load of dicks, fucking pieces of shit, I hope for an abrupt and harsh ending for them, so we can enjoy the game properly
Whereas a lot of players here want a harem type of ending, quite probably it won't go like that, and highly possible either you will be forced out of some relationships or will be lead to choose a girl over another.

I think most long-timers here are well aware that this isn't a harem game, and sleep around just waiting for Hammer of Doom to smash them as the various girls eventually find out.

There is a rumoured throuple though. Not sure if it has been definitely confirmed by Nyx (I doubt it, she prefers keep us in suspension) but last update may have seen the start of it with Layla and Elena - the Laylena path. And I could not be happier.

She would've told. The thing with Nyx is all people thinks she's trolling or messing around. But after all she always told the truth. It's funny when her "trolling" ends in the game and everyone is like "oh, I thought she trolled us..." When she made jokes, she always explained them if it was obvious that too many people didn't get the joke.

Nathan seems like a good dude I don't see him cheating so the only option I see here is with his gf, but I don't see that threesome unless they break first.
