He should already be in college. Did you miss the whole part where the MC is now supposed to be 18 and not 16 during the Iris flashback? Which happened two years before when he was with Iris. He's gone from either being gone 5 years to now Erynn says "I don't even know how long."
Though honestly I don't blame people for being confused, trying to keep up with the ever changing Intertwined timeline is like.

She still acted professionally, but she hated having to suspend her daughter's BF.
Will we see the opposite, a level of glee in punishing the guy who hurt her babies?
The new script might be an opportunity to keep better track of previous interactions with Adriana and what kind of relationship you have with her daughters.

I'm generally surprised that anyone pays attention to age and this change. As far as I'm concerned, nothing has changed.

Well reddit did was banned to mention the game on the AVN sub before the change haha. Tho I did catch on my first playthrough wasn't hard to connect. Tho I haven't played a new save since the change to see it for myself but I imagine it makes those Erynn flashback scenes feel weird as hell now.
When i first played the Iris flashback i was so focussed on meeting Iris that the fact that this scene had some... less than legal material flew right over my head.
It didn't give me any terrible trauma, it didn't offend my sensibilities as it was.
The scene is good, it's a good introduction to Iris, nice and cute, but according to the law it shouldn't have been there...
So we entered this unintentional comedy hour, where first Nyx denies there's anything wrong, then she says she's gonna fix it... and she's been fumbling the fix ever since, changing the MCs age in certain scenes but not in others, how long they were together...
Does it hurt the game for me? Not really, i just enjoy watching the mess
And must be said, mess that could've been avoided had she simply removed/skipped the sex...
And in places like this we would probably find "restoration patches" putting the scene back as it was.
But then again Nyx has refused to acknowledge this place exists for a while.

Me neither, despite being the easiest math ever(18-2), it only clicked after i saw the topic being discussed.

But Nyx needed to change things for legal reasons... and it has been... messy
Yeah, it's been a messy proccess.
Their relationship went from 2 years to 1 year, 1 year and a half... it's unclear if he was in Alvarado for 5 or 6 years...
Removing the sex scene would've left her in the clear law wise, and without any problems with the script...
And then people interested could've found restoration patches in sites like this.

honestly even if she just wanted to keep the scene would of been better to have the MC stay away from longer and met Iris / dated her when he was older cause I think the age difference between him and Erynn was better before the change.

Didn't really give it much thought either when playing. It was only when I talked about Intertwined a little on reddit and was threatened with a ban that I was told the reason why. 16 is the legal age of consent here in the UK.
Bloody conservatives, so 16 year old couples just hold hands huh? Good one!
