You are replying a message from 2022 for the translation of version 0.8, we are currently on 0.14. if that's the version you are using, it's probably why it's not working since it's not on par with the current game version.

It says that both Layla's and Alexis' romances must still be ongoing (and you must be more than friends with Valeria, too). But the Layla/Alexis triangle blew up awhile ago and, if you show interest in Layla, Valeria mostly backs off. She's still a little bit flirty but that's it.

Edit : sorry its slow load, i think you shouldn't choose Layla earlier when you must choose between Layla or Erynn after you went to Haven.

Are you sure we're talking about the same thing? Because I'm talking about Layla and Alexis, not Layla and Erynn. Also, the scene that you mention happens in, like, episode 2 or 3.
The walkthrough says that you can keep both Layla's and Alexis' romances going until this episode, but Alexis found out that MC was playing both sides ages ago, so both relationships are over. Also, it says that you need to be more than friends with Valeria and as I've said, I don't think you can do that if the MC is dating Layla. And Valeria tells the MC to choose between Alexis and her if she sees him and Alexis at the beach.

Alexis and Valeria you can however, you need to tell Val that you'll break up with Alexis and then don't. You can (for now) date both of them, but it's only a matter of time before the MC gets burned.
Be prepared to be a social outcast on that run.
Erynn and Iris will most likely side with Lexi and be pissed off at the MC. Layla and Elena will side with Val aswell and probably won't speak to him again.

I've already witnessed the fallout that comes from fooling around with Layla and Alexis. That's why I'm confused because the walkthrough says that, if you want to reach the point that I've higlighted (it says Valeria & Alexis), you need to be with both Alexis and Layla and more than friends with Valeria. That's not possible (at least not for long), because those three paths are mutually exclusive and, as you've mentioned, things eventually blow up in your face. I wonder if it's a mistake, but Mr.Bubu's walkthroughs tend to be accurate.You can't date both Layla and Alexis to this point, you'll always get found out.

Well unfortunately our choice is to accept it or not play it I guess. I haven't played a new run in months, so I am looking forward to getting into it when it comes. Though I'm not sure how many changes there will actually be.
She did say in the last dev update post, that she didn't really have time to do the usual rework this time as well as doing the new content, so I don't know if she's fully taking advantage of this "reset" or not.

yes, because when you choose Erynn over Layla after Haven, the romance still rolling BUT not as deep as when you choose Layla from the start. You can still flirt, but she will not break down when you told her that you're dating Lexi at Training Camp.
TBH if you want more drama with Layla and Alexis relationship, better doing Alexis Secret Path brother, i think next update this path will become more interesting

Even if Layla isn't as broken up if your relationship is more casual you still have to choose,right? Or does the scene with Alexis confronting the MC and telling him not to talk to either of them ever again doesn't happen if it's a casual relationship with Layla?
I've tried to start Alexis' hidden path multile times. I've never reached that scene when they appear when you are waiting for Layla to come back to the pool, after she gives him a bj and ask the MC if he thinks that Alexis is hot. I've tried three or four times unsuccesfully. I know what the pre-requisites are (ignoring Alexis from the beginning, starting Layla's path and being only friends with Erynn), but it doesn't trigger for me.
