One person can randomly fire up the grill on a tuesday, sure, but big BBQs with various friends invited tend to be on weekends... i'm not american but we also follow this "rule".
Exceptions for holydays or if everybody has a day off.

It becomes somewhat dodgy in terms of plot relevance if it's an optional scene.
And it is optional, the Valeria party is also scheduled for the same exact time.

Nyx even planned a 3rd scene(movies) if you didn't meet the criteria for invitation.

Some friends do get invited, Layla invited Elena and i think she said Alexis was going to invite Erynn.
But i don't think the MC is quite at this level of friendship, Layla doesn't say anything about a BBQ if you aren't dating her or Alexis.

Which is as I said heh. I agree though, Erynn and Lexi friends for life...same with Layla and Elena. That's why I asked, if not dating them....you're not even 'friends' with Alexis and just a school mate of Layla's. Why the hell would you be invited? Would make absolutely zero sense.

Sorry, meant that talking to Santi and a decision on the suspension feel like important events that have to happen on all routes.

Agree that you wouldn't be invited to the BBQ if you're not on Alexis / Layla route. Just meant there would have to be an alternative way to meet Santi or sort out the suspension for other paths.

Sure it can make sense won't argue that but from my pov is makes no sense for me personally. Because when I think of a BBQ I think first of all they should schedule it when their friends aren't busy with work etc. Which typically would be a weekend for alot of people. Sure the case is different here and does make sense because Santi , Emily , Zo , Adriana etc seem to have pretty flexible work hours since they got good jobs or don't need to work into the evening every day , where they would be to tired to attend a BBQ.

The other reason I find it makes no sense for me on a personal level. Since the game is told from the MC's pov I feel it's only reasonable to have an event when the MC doesn't have school ( not counting the suspension since now he can't go because of it) .

Yeah I know he is just invited by Alexis and the world doesn't revolve around him and it would happen either way. But since this is an AVN and the event is meant as something for the MC to attend depending on choices. I feel it makes more sense for it be when the MC wouldn't have school so he / the player can enjoy it more.

Maybe I have the wrong image in my head but when I think of this BBQ event the MC is going to be there for more than a few hours. Probably 2-3 hours at the BBQ and then a maybe something like 3 - 4 hours hanging out with Alexis or Layla after the BBQ. Unless he sleeps at their place he probably wouldn't get home till pretty late into the night starts. So unless he is gonna ditch school or show up tired and sleep in class or something. For me it feels like it would make more sense for it take place on a weekend.

Yes and no. This whole barbecue will be a small affair from the start. He could just as easily have been invited to lunch or dinner since he's already dropped by once, or the whole barbecue could be called a larger dinner. I used to come over for an evening barbecue, drink until midnight, and then head off to school. So it's not entirely a bad thing.

Is there any Erynn time planned for next epsiode? I'm asking cause I don't remember seeing any hints or anything about it in dev logs or some of the preview pics that mads there way here. And with the blackmail plot moving forward, shouldn't we actually spend time with the titular character of the plot, or we going to just solve it all in like next update in one day, easy peasy.

We'll probably spend some time with Erynn. It looked like she was dropping by in the morning. Later, we'll also be visiting the MSU, so I'm betting we'll spend some time with her.

One or the other or both. I got one account blocked by Nyx on Patreon for sharing preview pictures on here. She's greedy so likes to sell preview pictures, unless you're a paid supporter over $10 per month. Then doesn't like you sharing what you've bought with your own money.
She knows that most of her supporters have come from these forums, but yet doesn't like people getting even a look at the next episode without paying for it.
Many developers will post their preview pictures for all paid members, even the lowest tier. They will usually just include some with development/progress updates. They have the intellect to know that it drives engagement and interest which is overall good for the game.
Meh whatever. :ROFLMAO:

I was using the same name because I was talking with another developer and I wanted him to know who it was.
Like I said it was only one account, it's more petty and annoying than anything. Didn't even have the decency to message me and ask me to stop posting them or remove them.

Don't want to say who on this thread , but I was talking to dev and Nyx wouldn't even let them show Intertwined on the tv screen or something like that as a small cameo and they were a fan of the game. So I think not just Greedy but Nyx is also probably either not very friendly or hard to work with
