The feeling of someone who never paid attention to you suddenly being interested is quite familiar.
Not just the women, also the dudes who suddenly want to be your friends after ignoring or even being assholes for a long time.
Tori is interesting in the sense that she's not a Cara, no one is indifferent to Tori, some like her, some hate her... but you don't ignore her, when she does something she'll either piss you off or turn you on.
It's better than being a character that doesn't create strong feelings for better or worst.

you know me I love to make a Tori Shitpost once in awhile. But on the serious side while I don't like her or would never touch her. You know I intentionally played a Cara only run and tbh I was disappointed at the end, because Cara goes from being a virgin quasi-innocent little girl to a sex freak that only thinks in humping around during and after visiting MC . Total personality change that left me a bit disappointed because I thought her character had a bit more of substance. At least after banging Layla, she remains the same sweet, clingy and (if it were me) annoying butterfly.damn that's harsh, I like cara

Did we play the same game? Cara is now a sex freak? Enjoying sex and wanting to have sex with your partner after losing your virginity is not being a sex freak. Didn't like the anal sex stuff? Then stop licking her ass and she won't even ask if you're interested in trying anal sex. Or simply turn it down.
Layla is clingy and annoying? She is (if not on her path) one of the MC's only remaining friends, she is also a pretty amazing friend. You want to call anyone annoying and clingy? Then blame the MC. They were fine before he came along but now he relies on their friendship because for the most part he is incapable of making friends.

It is interesting to see the criticisms people come up with to explain their dislike/indifference to some characters when they could easily be applied to different characters who they have no issue with. I would argue that Lexi, at least in the earlier chapters, is more sex obsessed than any of the other girls. I would argue that Erynn is the most clingy character, she has her reasons for it but it doesn't take away from that fact.

Since Cara sometimes spends weeks without seeing the MC, i'll say it's natural that when they meet they wanna make up for lost time(applies to Nikki as well).
Also important to note in this Cara vs Layla comparison that Cara lost her virginity months ago and had sex numerous times since(maybe more than the gallery shows, since there's a time jump between the first time and the last one before the MC moves to MS).
Layla just had her first and second times a few days ago, she's still spreading her wings.
Talking of sex freak she just lost her virginity and might be planning her first threesome(not that i'm complaining), the girl is gonna be crazy with a little time.
Alexis relationship starts sex first, get to know each other later...
Then becomes a bit all over the place, weird mix of sexually aggressive yet sometimes lacking confidence and experience... never brought a guy home(but brought the MC day 2), mile-high club girl who has never sucked a dick.
Various girls show clingyness and extreme attachment(sometimes sudden) at various points, it's hard to gage which one is "winning".
I just know it's not Tori

Well I don't go stupid for pixel waifus in general, but I mean I like Cara a lot more than other LIs in the game, like Nikki or Alexis (speaking of clingy hoes)... but in the end, she does feel redundant... Nikki too... they're both a bit too similar to Layla & Alexis, imo.
