Yes, i think it's a good opportunity to show her growth... show she learned her lesson, isn't gonna fall for simple tricks and puts her trust not just the MC, but on the others who are there for her.
If we go with the usual "OMG YOU LIED TO ME, I CAN NEVER TRUST YOU AGAIN", it will feel incredibly frustrating...

Might very well be a growth moment, still a good cliffhanger to end on regardless of how she reacts.
However still don't think it's smart to sit on that information for too long.

I would say more of a failure for Erynn than a Ethan's success

You are right, it can still be the last thing that happens in v15 and leave us waiting for the next update.

The MC is in a difficult situation...
First, he just learned this info.
Second, he's just respecting Melissa and John's decision of taking it slow.

For Erynn, i definitely think she should talk to others, listen to their reasons for not telling her, and not just go with what Ethan says...
Ethan is proven to be unreliable and a manipulator.
It's silly to believe him or think he's doing something because he cares about her.

You're not wrong but we (and the MC and *hopefully* Erynn) learned from that experience that everyone suffered badly from that reaction; even the MC reached the point where he recognized he needed to stop blowing up without pausing to think things through.

Another chance to show character growth.
