I think it's rather straightforward -- you'll stumble onto it pretty much naturally if you just pursue Layla and don't push excessively things with Erynn (because you're interested in Layla)

Alexis knew that Erynn wasn't at all hesitant about meeting MC and how much she's wanted it, yet she chose to "shoot her shot" regardless. It's not about "MC has mixed feelings about her so it's a-okay to fuck him", it's about respecting feelings of her best friends.
I mean, all she'd be giving up by not hooking up in a toilet was a few minutes of a random dick attached to guy whose looks she liked. If you can't pass on even that to save your supposed best friend a heartbreak... yeah.
It's also not that she wouldn't have a chance to meet the guy again if she didn't "shoot her shot" right there and then. She knew who he was, she knew he's Erynn's neighbor so she knew where he lived and could see him again any time she wanted. Nothing prevented her from waiting a few days so the relationship between MC and Erynn would be clarified.

Damn, I come here and I see again that people hate Alexis... You act like the other girls are perfect and they're the little angels and Lexi is the evil one... She's not perfect, but if you're always complaining about her fucking poorly written introduction, then this character really isn't for you... And you always forget why Nyx wrote her like that, because she had other plans for Alexis. But she reacted too late to rewrite the beginning... Or did you catch me halfway through the game? By this standard Erynn is a worse person since she pushes Lexi to hit on him even though MC is with Layla or tries to sleep with MC even though she knows he is with Lexi.
I don't know if it's explicitly worse since Erynn's pushing mostly happens when MC and Layla aren't even officially dating and Erynn doesn't exactly hang out with Leyla so she doesn't know much about her crushes, but yeah. It's fair to note that it's pretty shitty, and if she keeps at it even after Alexis updates her on MC/Layla thing it's worth a side-eye if she still insists on it. (at this point i'm not sure if she will, the read i have at the end of the beach outing is kinda like "it's a pity but oh well")
Getting close with MC herself even though he's "with Alexis" though, i see it more like, "if it was okay for you then it's okay for me".

Err, i've never said your comment was offensive? I only meant that if someone is talking about Alexis' (or whoever's) flaws, it doesn't have to mean they hate that character. Especially fanatically hate. It's simply discussing that character's apparent personality.

Well then, maybe Erynn should take the fucking hint and realize that the guy who has refused to talk to her for the past five years doesn't want anything to do with her? The MC even asked Melissa not to tell Erynn that he was back in town. And yet this crazy stalker bitch thinks she has the right to burst into his bedroom while he's sleeping and pretend that they are great friends, as if she hadn't ruined their friendship years ago by choosing the MC's childhood bully over him.
And let's all be honest here. If the ever MC meant anything to Erynn, she would've stopped hanging out with Ethan the instant she found out he was bullying the MC. But she didn't. She keep hanging out with Ethan every day, even choosing to spent time with Ethan on the MC's 13th birthday, where it all came to a head. So let's stop indulging Erynn's delusions that she somehow cares about the MC, when in reality she just wants a white knight to ride in and save her from her own problems. A grown adult having romantic fantasies about someone they last saw when that person was a thirteen year old kid is fucking weird.
Alexis had every right to hide the MC from Erynn if for no other reason than she just didn't want to deal with Erynn's crazy nujob behaviour. I don't know why she's even friends with Erynn at all. Erynn is even willing to believe that Alexis slept with Ethan, so she clearly doesn't have any respect for Alexis.

What hint? The MC doesn't exactly communicate or make the most rational decisions even now as an adult.
A 13-year-old would have a hard time understanding what was happening; most kids that age would probably think it was a joke. I think both of them remember the past as being better than the present, so they believe things were better than they actually were.
Alexis should have been more open with Erynn the moment she knew MC was back but I agree that Erynn overreacted as well when at that point they were at most a platonic relationship.
She sleeps in the bed, which is a grey area... it's something they historically did before sexual tensions... but she probably should avoid this now.
Besides that she's been holding back this whole time which is way more consideration than her friend ever had for her.
And yeah on ASP she's an insane bitch.

MC tells Melissa to hold back, half because he wanted to surprise her, half because he was scared she wouldn't like him after all that has happened, he felt guilt for his actions... something apparently you can't sympathize or detect.
Erynn is pushy after finding out her friend is back in town and goes after him to talk, despite difficulties she doesn't give up on him and puts effort into being close to him... Oh what a terrible character flaw.
Maybe she shouldn't be friends with Erynn... because she already doesn't act like one.
Hiding important things and going behind your friends back, who needs friends like that?
Not to mention she didnt lie just to Erynn, she deceived a misinformed the guy she "loves" as well.

This I disagree with.
He had no intention of surprising Erynn, he was merely withholding that he didn't want to see her from her mother because Erynn was the catalyst for him leaving.
The "i want to surprise her" thing can sound as a bit of an excuse...
From his words we can see he's hesitant on wether he wants to meet Erynn or not... the feelings are conflicting, part of him is still holding on to resentment, part of him wants to see her but is scared to do so, how it will play out...
What if things can't go back to the way they were? At the same time he's not over the "humiliation", he also knows he didn't handle things in the best way and maybe she doesn't care for him anymore(or never did as some think), that scares him.

Interesting that you saw things that way; FWIW I saw them differently.
He asked the mothers not to tell Erynn he returned because he did not want Erynn to know... ...he didn't want to see, confront, or have anything to do with her. It appeared to me that MC still was angry with Erynn over the flower incident; as the player, we know he misread that but the MC didn't realize this yet. To me, his resentment due to Erynn's "hurtful act" was alive and well.
I recognize this defies logic since the MC is Mel's next-door neighbor and landscaper. It's inevitable the MC will meet Erynn again. But at this point in the game the MC still isn't making very sound choices when his emotions are involved.

MC doesn't start warming up to Erynn until after she wakes him up, everything prior to that screams avoidance and resentment.
If MC told Mel that he didn't want to see Erynn and she was the reason he left, she'd straight up tell Erynn he was back, which he wasn't ready for, or even sure he wanted.

I was referring to the fact that if you go running with Layla instead of going out with Lexi you can continue Erynn's route in parallel with Lexi's
You can chose to stay with her, and have a nice conversation right away... that's on you, how you play the character.
His initial reaction can be put down to having a "dear in the headlights" moment, he saw Erynn and didn't know how to react at that moment.
The way i see things he was split between wanting to be friends again and his resentment... all the way until the park conversation.
I think you are wrong here...
It goes:
Ethan rescue> Talk about Alexis or not...
If you chose to tell Erynn things stop immediately.
If you don't... blueballs scene
There's almost sex, but she doesn't know you are still seeing Alexis(because you decided not to say anything).
After that we have Alexis date or Layla training, by chosing Layla training you avoid Erynn+Alexis meeting at your place, nothing happens here, she just drives you to school.
Next meeting is after TC when Erynn stops by... if you haven't mentioned Alexis before the MC does it here automatically... all Erynn scenes going forward became their toned down versions.
Now, Erynn is, or can be depending on playstyle, secretly still in love with the MC... but she hasn't done anything that actively crosses the line into cheating on her friend.

What disappointed me most about Erynn was the fact that despite Ethan blackmailing her, she still naively thinks that he will let her fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher even though she knows it will never happen. Despite her friends' attempts to help her, she gives up and lets Ethan win instead of trying to fix it. In this way, she disappointed me both as a friend and as a potential girlfriend.
