That was maybe one of the approaches he would have taken if Nyx didn't turn him into a clown. She mentioned that she made him hella dumb, so he is probably only on a tenth of his actual danger level

Only if he manages to start thinking seriously about what he needs to do to start living a proper life. First of all, he needs to stop pressuring girls even when they need a break from him and secondly, he needs to start being really aware of who he wants to be friends with so that his wrong friends don't drag him down. If he doesn't do that, he'll start having problems in his life that he won't be able to solve himself, and if he pushes away all the good friends, he'll only pay for it later. Then even a reformation camp won't help him.

Valeria was only interested in Zach until she found out what he was like. As soon as he started to be even slightly aggressive towards her, she started avoiding him quite a bit and Zach's latest behavior didn't help him get closer to her.

IIRC it is potentially their first interaction, meeting again after a few years. So it'd add to setting the tone of their relationship.

There's lot of minor shit added in the revamp, and most of it doesn't add anything to the story, but it's simple fluff. Heck, most of any interactions in this game don't add anything crucial to the story. They're just slice of life between friends shooting shit. It didn't stop the author from putting this stuff in. I don't see why this should be any different or some exception simply because the subject is whether MC can hold his liquor.

I assume Nyx had to justify MC having two long ass sexual relationships and used that scene as a shortcut. I doubt she cares what anybody thinks of a mc who goes to spanish class despite speaking spankish.

Why would Nyx have to justify anything in the first place? And how would that work, when there's tons of places in the game which make it clear that no, MC is not 21?

Also, didn't MC only have one relationship to speak of, with Iris? Not sure which one you mean as the second, if it's Cara/Nikki then it wasn't anywhere near being ass long, the MC only learns about their existence, as well as about their mother, shortly before the wedding is about to take place.
