any update about the release date?
I remember someone here saying we can expect an update within Q1 2026
will it be one single episode or multiple?
Lots of talks about us having to make a new game bcz older saves wouldn't work so is it safe to expect more content like more than one episode

Nope.
Fairly optimistic, but possible.
One single episode that will contain 2 (packed)days in-universe.
Your current save won't work, so in theory you will have 15 episodes to play.
But only one chapter will be completely fresh.
Episode 4, mainly Riverside flashback, the introduction to Nikki/Cara, is also getting retouched and will look and feel slightly different.
The whole script will also be changed in some ways(which ways? Nobody knows), which might lead to different choices and consequences throughout the game.

I think the changes spoken about (but not really confirmed) so far are:
A definitive choice between Layla and Erynn after the club (in episode 2 or 3 right?), which will close one of their romantic paths for the rest of the game?
The choice of not helping Erynn may be removed?
The MC and Nikki's first time may not be shown, but it's implied that at the gym isn't their first time?
What am I forgetting?

Also with the rework who knows what other choices will change in the flashback
These 3 and some more opportunities to acquire Iris points, that was the first thing Nyx mentioned for needing a new script.
Beyond that no one knows.
I think Nyx talked about including a "actually don't want either of you".
You could only do this the hard way before, by being a dick to both sisters.
No idea about further changes, scenes will be longer, there will be extra scenes... but probably just the usual "be nice>gain points".
