Yeah I think Nyx may still be fighting a losing battle with Cara though, it wasn't even that she was a bad character before, she's always been really cute IMO. Especially with her original hairstyle.

It's a case of too much competition, even in her own home with the bombshell Nikki.
I also hope that it doesn't backfire and cause even less people to like or pick her when you are forced to choose.

Because Nyx didn't want to give us an alternative way to get Elena, which would be them flirting and interacting separate from Layla. That would have made way too much sense and been far too simple. Instead we are forced to be on Layla's path then hurt her, if you like Elena.

Although this change in her personality doesn’t fully work for me and slightly damages her image. I get the impression that now, on her route, no one takes her seriously. Erynn and Alexis don’t see her as a threat. It’s like she’s saying, “You fight among yourselves, and I’ll quietly take the MC from you.”

Well I don't think that both Cara and Nikki need to have a negative interaction or bad first impression with Erynn, that was one of the things that set them apart IMO. It also highlighted that Cara was probably more of a people person than Nikki (unless your name is Zane ) but more so how they perceive and deal with possible threats.
