I remember there were some scenes with her in which it's suggested she's into him, and vice-versa, and the best part it's not happening in Lay's path so you could chase Elena and still get some content with her without cucking Layla; don't know what happened with that in future updates and if Nyx is working in Elena's path anymore, hopefully we'll get more awkward content with both of them this year but I hope she retakes what was she doing with that Latina beauty.

What I meant is that there were SOME scenes you can get without pursuing Layla, you know, hints, looks, conversations, etc. Like in camp, Layla is speaking with Elena and the last one says "That's what you get for neglecting yourself" or something like that when speaking out of the pool, they were talking about MC's-Elena's relationship and it was almost implicit that Layla gave up about pursuing MC and Elena just got him first. But that's it, nothing happened in future updates.

The "i see what you mean Layla" already means Layla has told Elena that she likes the MC, Layla path.
Even on a scene where Layla isn't there physically, she's there "in spirit"(I think if you are fully outside of the Layla path by that point Elena doesn't even ask for your help training).
Everything Elena is on the Layla path, from the train kiss, all the way to the hottub scene.

I don't think there's a way to "unstuck them", it would require Nyx to add a ton of unique renders throughout the chapters for Elena.

Nyx loves little details, mysteries and teasing...
So you catch things like seeing the girls mid-conversation without much context to just tease you.

Val already told the MC that she can't just ignore Zach without at least an explanation why, I think that this is the conversation of her trying to talk some sense into him, clearly the idiot takes it the wrong way. Or he asked Ethan for dumb advice.
The scene we see of Ethan, his goons and Val is clearly us seeing what happened when they bumped into each other at the end of ep13 if she helped the MC. This is nothing to do with Zach because at this moment Ethan has no clue that Zach likes her.


Hopefully you get to have a Nikki moment with the new top where she rips it because her ex had the same one. But in your case it would be "Sorry but this is an insult to all Brazilians, it's got to go"
