Because I prefer to write rather positive posts. I've been thinking about contributing to this thread at all. I decided do it in the end. I will add a little honey to the beginning so it wouldn't sound as bitter as I currently think of Interwind.

When I started gam, it was nice with beautiful girls. My only problem was which girls choose for canonic path, because Interwind have so much beautiful girls with which MC has good chemistry. I also acknowledge with gratitude that dad was alive and wasn’t overuse asshole dad.

Yea, I think, that you know what messed up the game for me now.

First disappointment was, when MC dropped using “dad” for his dad and start using Anders, all in second he gets to know true (after calling him dad his all life). Who would do it? At same time, they started address sperm donor as “real dad” because sex play obviously higher importance than upbringing .

It was unfortunately only beginning, because we get classic “daddy is asshole” troupe and “mommy is lonely and need your love troupe”. If I have knew from beginning, that it will be generic porn game story, I will probably see it as above average, but now I am mostly disappointment.

yup, and thats one of things i think could be improved here (a rather long past scenes) - not interested much in her past, adventures, flsahbacks etc...more in the present relations, preferably with mc.

Thank you for the kind words but only did this one as Zoe dropped it and I love this VN. The other one you mentioned holds no interest to me at all for various reasons but importantly, I also lack the time.

Short update since I don't have much to talk about. Well I do actually, but those contain spoilers

I have a good idea which scenes I want to include in this update, problem is, I still don't know how big they are going to be. I might have to scrap one or two other scenes and put them in the episode after this one.

I created lots of scenes already but some you'll only get to see on a specific route.
Render-wise it will be aprox the same amount as last episode, definitely not more since that was the absolute max my pc can handle and I don't want to prolong the wait time on episodes even more. Play time might be a bit lower though because of all the route-splitting. I'll know more in a few weeks.

It has been discussed already, so better to not start all over again, yet...
As I see it is a classical traveling foul, too many steps without proper ball handling, where the dev leads players to false hopes - if not intended (aka beginners mistake), than it would be better to remake that whole part with "mom", and to remove any option for mc to peak, flirt etc with her.
This whole topic otherwise will pop-ups every now and then asking the same question - when will have some fun with "mom"? and id say thats a quite legitimate question, considering a whole setup and the story so far. as i have said it above. The game surely is one of better around, imo, yet there certainly a many areas to improve and make it even better.
My five cents on the topic, and gonna try to not engage into similar "mom" discussion in future.

If there is a mom route the traffic will increase for sure and more interesting. Leaving that aside if there is not going to be a route like that then its better to have no hope at all then to give some hope and get crushed later on in the game considering the fact that i get "mommy fun" vibes in the premise .

I honestly can understand some frustrations and expectations about non-existent "mom route" given where we are, but... feel the vibe, guys Emily's "options" are there to show that non-consensual peeking on women is bad and we should re-build a platonic relationship with her, mkay.
Yes, it's revolutionary and seems out of place for avns, but I'd be less surprised if completed milfy city 2 is suddenly released than if there will be incest in Intertwined. Whether it's good or bad is for y'all to decide, but it is what it is *shrug*

no this game would not benefit from being able to fuck Emily, it's not that kind of game and it's very, very obvious in the story
this game would suffer from it because it would be very out of place

people get annoyed about the question "when is the next update?????" but god damn this gets on my nerves

But while we are talking about Emily, there is something I wanted to ask, but most certainly didn't want to start another shitstorm like after the release of 0.6. So, please, handle your justice boners politely if you will

I don't hate her or like her, I'm more on the coldish neutral side. But thing is, I actually really want to like her and my opinion would improve dramatically with a few extra lines, but oh well. To be clear, obviously not my story and I'm just saying it to illustrate a point.

Emily is this character that accrued a lot of sympathy points - losing (?) her mom, getting pregnant young, abandoned by "babydaddy", married to jealous guy etc. That is all true, life has been hard, but I wanted to focus on the only one "real" mistake she made - they way she approached situation with Santhiago when the MC was a kid. I'm not talking about Andres being right or wrong back then, Santhiagos rights and all that stuff, only from a moral perspective, about a parent being responsible for her child's happiness at that age. That was one mistake that lead to pretty big consequences and... it was barely acknowledged by one line "I know I shouldn't have", followed with "but buts".

I don't want her to suffer (wtf) or to belittle/dismiss her hardships, I want a teeny tiny bit of self-reflection from a mature adult she is supposed to be at 36(38?). I mean, young Alexis had a lot of self-aware inner monologue, why can't Emily? That bit of self-reflection would make the difference between headstrong and strong/tenacious mom-survivor, imo. It would also shed a very different light on her depression and drinking after the divorce (right it looks 50/50 between self-pity and remorse, totally understandable and relatable, she was entitled to part of it, but it's not necessarily "likeable"), and on her shipping the MC off to Andres who "always knew what to say".

So uhm... Does somebody feel similarly here? Or is she completely fine just the way she is?

I'm fine the way she is. But you bring up a good point. And having read your post, I'm now hoping we do get that reflection in upcoming episodes. MC is probably going to have a talk with Emily about the Punchening now, so that would be a good point to start. And with Santi in the picture now, thats just more places to insert it.

At the very least, it adds more flavour to her character.

Not sure if it is from latest update, or earlier, yet i wouldnt call it "cancerous" - unless dev redo her early works (not moms, yet devs), all mentions of "mom" in sexual/mc context are quite on the spot imo.
I might be kidding about it occasionally (personally dont find her much attractive, at least not in this game), yet if you lure players with a candy-on-stick and then all of sudden say - sorry, no candy for ya, just enjoy the stick -Id say this thread is rather civil, and those demanding "mom" are far from being "cancerous".

Though, considering it in wider perspective, you might be right, probably there will be moms-demand even without any candies aka teasing/flirting options in the early game...

Either way, wtf cares, you cant keep threads clean, there always will be similar posts, either mom, sister, ntr, update, animations, music, walk-mod or anything else floating someones boat...So whenever is possible just take a or...(damn, since when no weed emoji here), and chill out.

Ok, perhaps Im an idiot too, as I think there was a carrot, a candy or whatever some can find alluring, on the stick - and we interpret the few scenes including mc and "mom" from the early game-stages differently.
