Who's saying you have to kiss the devs ass? People are asking to give the dev space and time to work on the game y'all keep wanting more of. People really think you can treat devs poorly and expect them to work at their best?

And all it would take is for someone to think "That developer doesn't take any shit from entitled randos, seem worth it to support" to counteract it. Your money isn't as important as you think.
It is bad business being a doormat for entitled "potential" customers who are unlikely to follow through on their promise to support anyway. Or even actual customers. Again: only accept customers who are actually worth the trouble they are causing.

Disclaimer of bias: based on the previously mentioned criteria I qualify as a kissass, bootlicker, fanboy.
I DO love Nyx's work and since this January I am a proud Patreon supporter of hers. (I have never considered revoking my support based on a missing kink in the game or the dev's behavior. She was always open and transparent as much as possible.)
I have also read through this thread since page 60.
I think of Nyx as a human being who has her own struggles. Recently she seems to be more and more stressed about the forecoming update - more than any of us here.
It all started as a larger than usual update, that should include the training camp events and something after coming home.
Now after 5 months it seems to be enormous, with way too many choices and combinations to keep track of. There is still no way to predict the amount of work to be completed, let alone to have a hard release date.
(It has to be mentioned that the wast majority of Patrons voted to keep the update together and not to split it up for the sake of earlier release, because that would hurt the story.)
That's why I think she is so sensitive recently when someone mentions the next release date. Since this topic comes up every other day in this forum, it might be beneficial for her if she would be able to distance herself from us temporarily. I hope she comes back once.
Also we have to understand, that she is not a company, with sales department, PR department etc. She may be rough around the edges, but has a clear vision how the game should look like and that shapes the fan base and not the other way round (that would clearly be a disaster).
PS: I hope there will be a new forum on this site with title "How to behave nicely between forum members" where this all discussion can be moved later.

I don't think so. I think you like the game (as I like it) but you are able to see that is not perfect (there are not perfect games, IMO, not even AAA) and don't get triggered and rush to give "facepalm" if someone criticizes it. And I think that you are able to see that the dev can be wrong, even if you are understanding with her. I don't think you fit in none of those appellatives.

On f95 zone there have been such discussions in the game threads, since
I am registered here. I keep reading comments in a new game thread, for example, that this game is not for me because this is or is not in the game. The big discussion always about Ntr or why no harem. Why not move on and find games simply by searching for your own preferences. Instead there are meaningless comments. The recently discussions about Alexis and Ntr even though there is no ntr tag and this game never will be an ntr game and of course questions about when the next update is ready even though the answer is 5 comments above. Or why no incest or the developer is taking too long for the update, he is milking his supporters and is a milker and scammer. That's all comments who are unnecessary.
Why not just enjoy the togetherness instead, I mean we all have something in common, we like this site and these games here. Maybe we're not socially accepted outside of this, because such hobbies are stamped as porn games and we're all just perverted for the ones out there, but a lot of the games here are a lot more and tell a great story like Intertwined which isn't all about sex.
I would really love to see in the future, that we all act a bit more as a community and not constantly attack each other, because all of our comments will come back like a boomerang and we all discuss endless about our own opinion, although we could use our time more wisely, for example with theories about the game or what we like the most about the game, the great moments and our favorite characters.

guess i missed the fun! bet most of you still miss the days when i was the one creating all the problems!
someone stated something very true! 80% of your problems comes from 10% of your customer base while 80% of your business comes from 10% of your customer base! but they are almost never the same the smart worker/salesman/entrepreneur will learn to distinguish the two and cut off his losses with the bad customers!
i work in the tourism industry and a bad customer ruins the experience of 30 other customers since that person will affect the staff that in turn will not react properly and provide the rest of the customers the proper attention! such customers are normally the ones i am sent to deal with... lets just say 90% of them change their behavior the others are kicked out, you do not fuck with the people under my responsibility!
most of the troublemakers here seem to be relatively new! now 9 out 10 times all they need is a bit of attention and be told the rules on how to behave luckily the other 1 out 10 are present to be set as an example so perhaps someone should call a moderator to sort this shit out?
not saying nyx is in the right however she is the one creating the game that i happen to greatly enjoy so between her and a random dude the random dude will learn that the world is unfair! so cut it out already even if you are right and she is "selling" her game here that does not allow you to spam random unwarranted shit that hurts her feelings... that is my job!
however the 1st post i do not consider it egregious if anything is a self deprecating joke ... a bad one but still just a joke about soul searching in the den of depravity that are these forums!

I don't think so. There are always exceptions of comments from people who may not like this game or are not satisfied with things related to the game. But most of us at least 90 percent are behind Nyx because she brings new updates regularly and the game is great, what you can see in the supporters. I think she's grateful for those who support her and if it's just a like or a nice comment about the game and the other way around, most of us are grateful when she brings out a new very good update.
I mean, I can say a lot of good things about this game, I like the look of the MC, which I personally find very attractive. For me there are many games out there where the MC looks like a little boy in the middle of his sexual awakening. That shouldn't be a criticism of other developers, but they look more at the looks of the ladies. Nyx has achieved both an attractive MC that I like to play and attractive girls.
The girls there we are on the subject. The best reasons to love this game are the girls. Magnificent for example Layla, Layla and oh wait, Layla.
