It doesn't matter what we think. We can see solutions that a character cannot. What matters is how Erynn perceives the event damaging her sense of self. And in that sense, it is grave. So much so that she lets Ethan control her out of fear.

Would a sex tape damage the life of a person today? Hard to say. I would venture a guess that it would certainly do damage, the extent to which is undeterminable. Would a normal woman (person, male or female) be significantly affected by someone threatening to reveal a sex tape or intimate private details about her life? Hell yes!

Therefore, Erynn's actions are completely normal and acceptable within her character. She worries about what people think about her. What her mom would think if she saw the video and learned that she could not be "strong" against Ethan's threats. What her friends would think of her. Fear is a powerful motivator.

Actually, she's worried about not being able to become a teacher. It's even what she told the MC. Yes, that's totally plausible as several OF content creators found out not so long ago.

Currently the game is a complete hot female overhaul and every girl is acting like MC is the only guy on the world.
for a while its enjoyable but if you recognize it 10 chapters later with 10 further introduced females it turns out a little weird..

At least its not that trope of the entire roster of LIs being virgins.

Grown woman Victoria Secret models with zero sexual experience, there is nothing more unimmersive and 95% of VNs go this route.

LIs putting their entire love life on pause waiting to be saved by the MC is the next trope I hope dies off.

Models are not escorts or prostitutes. Not saying they don't do things that sometimes align with that lifestyle. Models are regularly "given" gigs to be arm candy, paid and unpaid. Do many of the women have sex with the rich assholes they decorate? Sure. Erynn does not. What she is doing is legal, expected, and sometimes required. It is life as a model.

Then he learns she's pregnant, tells her he will fix everything, goes to his parents to call off the wedding, saying he prefers to be with Emily if both are pregnant, they try to pay her for an abortion, fail, she thinks Santiago asked for that, starts avoiding him, he marries Valeria's mother. It's an unhappy marriage and Santiago ultimately leaves Valeria and her mother and marries Gabriela.

Starting off Ep.9, Cara was at the door but I excused myself and left her talking to Emily to take the phone call from Alexis. When I come back, Emily is now comforting Nikki instead of Cara?! Anyone else get that weird switch?

I get you feel the way you feel for whatever reason. What I do not understand in your explanation is that it is the backstory of the MC being comforted by Alexis when he was younger. The MC did not recall that (and we did not learn that) until much later in the game.

Or maybe because Erynn's story isn't central in the first four chapters? Well, in that case, neither are the stories of Elena, Layla, Valeria, Gabi, Nikki, or Cara. Because we have not dived deep into the Erynn arc? That doesn't make sense either. The MC has carried a flame for Erynn from the beginning. They meet back up and she is even more beautiful. He eventually pulls his head out of his ass and realizes that Erynn was not the one who hurt him. His memories of what happened were completely false. Then he thinks Ethan is in the way in the present. Again, he pulls his head out and listens to Erynn's story.

The MC was in love with Erynn since he was younger. She was always "the one." How is it more difficult to follow that than to follow the Alexis story?

I guess it may be possible through player choices to skip parts of her story. You may have chosen to not help Erynn in the two cases where you were given the choice. I do not understand why people would choose that option (other than exploration) considering this is a story about Erynn and the MC. It is like watching Star Wars and skipping the Jedi content because you don't like Obi-Wan. Who does that?

I do not understand the people who are like, "Erynn? Meh."
