I was actually happy to let him have Val, the MC already has his pick of the other girls and she comes too late in the story for me to see her as a serious LI but of course he manages to mess things up with the one girl that he might actually have a chance with... and he blames the MC for it LOL. Fuck Zach, I tried to be a good friend despite him acting like an idiot 99% of the time and he still betrayed the MC and sided with Ethan. I hope we get the chance to take proper revenge against him.

its one thing being dumb but when he gets told multiple times by the MC "hey bro chill the fuck out" and he keeps trying to be too handsy or forceful, I dont feel sorry for him.

so I have a question for the Erynn fans out there other than the look of her character what endears her to you ? I am curious because and this is just an opinion of someone that played a very rushed playthrough, there wasn't really much that compelled me to want to stick the MC with her romantically, lost love maybe but so much time has passed, she never felt like the one that got away or vice versa.

You are not alone with that..i played all romances and in fact only the one of Alexis really has a deep engaging story until the current end...all the rest are just somehow interesting characters and some sort of teasing and good looking but not really the way that i would recognize it as a LI.

I do kind of think that Zach is a bit of a bad guy. He could have gone a different way, but people in his life were too indifferent to his worst behaviors and I was pretty done with him by the time he was spying on the girls in the locker room. It was not that one action that convinced me but it was a part of a larger pattern of disrespectful and depraved behavior. The more he pushed things and the more that people let him get away with the more he was susceptible to Ethan scooping him up and making him his henchman, which is what he is now. It is a shame because he probably wants to be a better person deep down, but he feels like he isn't getting the love he deserves and that can really embitter a person. But people are not inherently good or bad we can only judge them by their deeds.

About Alexis also all past and secrets get exposed and at the end she is really honest and caring. I think this makes her also to a candidate for Nyx to make her vanish in next episodes somehow because she hasnt any secrets to explore anymore.
From now on i think we can expect that with every erpisode we ll get one of the girls uncovered and exposed to MC as LI and at the end everyone will vanish or die dramatically...until at the End Erynn will be the last girl standing.....

I do kind of think that Zach is a bit of a bad guy. You have a point there i did not think about the locker room scene. he´s at the very least a douche and im probably going a little soft on him but a lot of his behavior can be explained by stupidity. He just does not get how he is perceived by others and so far no one realy confronted him. So he might just not know any better. I still think that he wouldn`t have akted against the MC this way if he had not gotten manipulated by Ethan, which on the other hand is a full blown sociopath he uses and harms others for his own gain in full conciousnes, he deserves everything bad.

Maybe because it's not explicit? That's still heavier ntr than you could find in many games, which got the facepalm brigade.

Nyx is trying to save Erynn but every choice it seems Erynn gets worse off... perhaps it would have been better her being whored out and the white knight simp MC could come to the rescue...

see this part is how I feel 100% I was the MC at 13 that was in love with a 16 year old girl who because of her friends pretty much made my life a living hell while she did nothing to intervene. She cared about me yes but she was never fully there romantically so after I was pushed away it was pretty much over with, when I hit 16 and she was 19 she had seen me as someone different (I had filled out gotten taller etc) but I had moved on, for me it was a learning experience, I also had an Iris so I guess for me this game is reliving my past and while maybe I would have liked for my Erynn to have come to my rescue but I took what happened to me as a life lesson and found someone better.

except Erynn and iris are sisters... they are basically the same person at different ages given different choices of friends (and thus different opportunities and choices)!

Remember Iris had just a broke up with Laykin when she gives the MC a chance! (spoiler...???)

so if you consider your point of view... you picked the right girl at the wrong time! then later on you got to pick her again... at least the archetype of the girl! the fact that you see them as different people instead of comprehending that they had the image that your eyes created!

so basically what changed was not the girl but the moment and therefore the age of the eyes that watched... only you can consider them the same eyes watching when everyone else would consider a 13 year old and a 16 year old looking as different ways of watching and understanding the world and therefore different people... unless you have not changed...

Val is my favorite but she could have no content for the rest of the entire VN and she'd still be my favorite.
However, i do NOT have a 'Val' play through.
Not promoting just stating fact.

Perhaps You can do an Erynn run and see what all Erynn's about.
Warning, read everything well.
