Thanks mnotwoke for directing me towards this post, i think it's really smart and sums her up really well.

Tori is an underrated character. I think she gets overlooked because players dislike her for being a mean slutty bitch, but she's a well written mean slutty bitch, and that makes her one of the better characters in the game. She's quite different from the main girls, fills her current role in the story very well, and has the potential to create several differnt paths in the future.

Tori is an unabashed maneater and everyone knows it. I love how Zach (the biggest horndog in the game) is disgusted by your choice of Tori if you choose her for your answer of which girl is the hottest.

Zach: "Tori? What the hell... She isn't bad looking, I give you that. But just her reputation alone."
MC: "I know, but somehow, I don't know what exactly it is. She turns me on."
Zach: "There is something majorly wrong with you dude."
MC: "Ha ha."

and a bit later...

MC: "I think she's put a spell on me or something. I can't get her out of my head."
Zach: "There's clearly something wrong up there."

This is one of my favourite conversations in the game. It was perfect because it exactly mirrored my feeling towards Tori. There was none of the "deep down she's a nice person" foolishness. Instead, it was the classic scenario where you know something is a bad idea, but do it anyways because it's just too tempting.

There was a moment where Tori was enjoying the way the main character was kissing her neck, and she suddenly got a shocked/frightened look on her face before making him stop and saying "No-no-no... We're not doing that. You're here to eat my pussy and fuck me. That's it." That could be a set up for some sort of a melt the heart of the ice queen path with Tori in the future, but it's unlikely many players would be interested in a Tori relationship unless there was some sort of a redemption arc for her first.

A redemption arc would be a hard sell, but it could happen if she did something like help get rid of Lucas or help take down Ethan. Tori doesn't seem to be overly cruel to anyone, at least not to a cartoonishly ridiculous level that would make a redemption arc impossibly stupid. Tori is a fairly realistic mean girl antagonist, rather than an absurd characiture that you can find in another game. She hasn't blackmailed anyone into getting naked so she could push them out into the streets, tasered anyone in the throat until they passed out, or attempted to rape anyone while they were tied to a chair. She did spread some sort of hurtful rumour about Layla in the past, and she will pretend not to know you the day after you hook up. That's about it so far.

Another possible route we could see in the future would be one where Tori starts to fall for the MC, and then he dumps her after Layla tells him a sob story about how mean Tori was to her in the past. Hooking up with Tori and her hot cheerleader friend Jasmine just to rub it in Darryl's face is another thing that could happen, and probably the most likely path as it's already set up well. And even if she just stayed the slutty bitch she is now, and didn't have any big character arcs, I would still enjoy having her in the game.

Tori is bitchy and full of attitude, but doesn't go out of her way to create conflict.
Sometimes she shows a hint of a softer side, on both scenes(after the race and at the beach) with her she seems very guarded about enjoying kissing and caressing, sounds like something holding her back, can't allow herself to get romantic.

She gets a bad rep because at times scenes are tonally against her, the early scene at the bar is one such example, it's portrayed in very pro-Layla way, we see what Layla is thinking and that Tori flirting with MC pisses her off, but from Tori's perspective she's just flirting with the new hot guy in school, just doing her thing.
Only after getting rejected (and over Layla who she seems to have some dislike), she shows some claws.

I also find it interesting that she seems to have no issues with Valeria, just Layla and Elena... interesting wrinkle that she doesn't hate every hot girl competing with her for male attention.
Elena who btw knows Tori enough to know that she hates being called by her full name Victoria, so again maybe some history here...
Is it possible that "good girls" Elena and Layla started rumors about her way back in the day?And she just embraced it?
That would justify the animosity.

The only thing that is really shitty is the whole "she doesn't fuck losers", maybe her path should've had dual entrances(and i don't mean front door and back door ), like if you fucked her earlier and licked her during stretching... she still gives you a shot.
I think there's a way to do that without toning down her "Tori-ness", just start the scene with her sarcastic about your loss instead of sympathetic.
And we get to fire right back at her "poor" performance and we get a "losers" path to Tori.

If you didn't fuck her in the early portion of the game then maybe she only comes at you if you win the race.

I actually think most bad blood towards Tori comes from when you are doing a Layla(+Elena) run then actually going for Tori.
When you are on Layla, Tori is a bitch with a huge chip on her shoulder, just being nasty and bitchy for no reason.

The actual Tori path is OK, she doesn't set out to antagonize you(often) and simply doesn't like wasting time, no talking, no relationship, no feelings(yet, it may come)... just fucking, very objective.
And pays no attention to you hanging out with other girls either...

Visually i think she would perhaps look better with a different hair, it's a little too short and too much blonde for her complexion.

Side question is there a way with this current update to have scenes with ShaCarri? The only ones I seem to be able to get so far are when your with everyone at that pool and the track meet oh and right as you all get there. I think those are the only ones at least.

Hmmm I did a val run don't remember her mentioning Shacarri but maybe I forgot in a short time I have rerun (speed run repeat stuff) multiple paths. Either way can't wait tell next update really like this game.

That's fair, she didn't take it well at all, she could've shown indifference and even be nasty but in a better way.
Ultimately she was being used to give us a good Layla scene(the first kiss) rather than being a person herself.
And going for her will end up sacrificing a lot with Layla, Elena and Val... so it's not a choice many will take.

Shacarri makes a cameo on the Nikki path, she was hanging out at the beach.
With beach dates just around the corner she might make her next appearance pretty soon, specially on the Valeria path they might have some interactions.

Tori is just a bitch. she certainly has a story for how she became like that in her childhood or teenage years for sure, but i don't think it excuses any of her behavior, whether you're on her path or not.
from what you can gather, Layla and Elena didn't do anything to her. it's only Tori that spread the rumors about Layla and her stalker for no reason. Tori probably might have been jealous of Layla and the attention she got, plus Layla's family is rich, she is the daughter of the principal, not really serious about anything, not really motivated to win (even though her dad was a legendary athlete) and that guy was obsessed with her (maybe Tori wanted a piece of him and he turned her down because of Layla). or something as stupid as hating Layla because Daryl wanted Layla first, and Tori is his second choice.
She doesn't seem to have anything against Elena though. maybe she even has some form of respect for her, in her own weird way. being the cheerleader captain, carrying the team, winner mentality, doesn't take shit from anyone and hit back instantly if provoked, etc. except that Elena is Layla's best friend. they probably shared some classes, and that's how Elena got her real first name.
she is the classic trope "bitch to everyone except her only friend"

Looking for an excuse to explain the relationship between Gabi and Navarro, without giving Nyx a chance for drama, I came up with a theory:

When observing the photo in Gabi's room, I noticed that they don't seem close, not like a couple, or they would be hugging happily on their wedding day.


So I think Navarro may have been Gabi's agent when she was an athlete, that's how they met and that's why he was present at her wedding, he was important in her life and may have even been the best man.

Maybe this blonde guy who was with Navarro is Gabi's husband.


The absence of a photo of her with her husband on the wall can be explained by the fact that she removed it due to problems in her marriage, and after deciding to divorce, she also took the photo with Navarro, as this inevitably reminded her of the marriage and future ex-husband.

Are you new here? This is the kind of thing Nyx has always done, she creates these situations to spark discussions, and with every update, she changes something that happened in the game to justify the plot.

I feel Lexi's path has way more events then any of the others not sure if that is just me or not. I am not complaining she is awesome. The only other people I think might be close is Layla or Erynn. All of them are great options imo. I won't lie I am super curious where the story is heading because it's obvious where it looks like it's going at the very least but I have this feeling it's going to veer hard somewhere along the way.

Whatever the case ends up being I am here for it. Do we know if there is suppose to be a set number of updates (basically whole story already planned out for the most part) or is the amount of updates more fluid ( has an idea of where they are going but adjust with reactions on the fly)?

I have posted more on this game in like 1 week then I think I have in all other games combined in a year lmao it's really interesting. I hope you all have an amazing weekend

You need to train with Layla. It does not affect Lexi's path.

Everytime I do a new run that intersects with Iris I like her a bit more. I mean from the beginning she was always an awesome character but the more I find out about her the more I am like I need to find the best path to do an Iris run. What is the best path to Iris
