I like Elena a lot, and unless there is a throuple path I may go for her solo path at some point. I'd have to get very drunk and steel my tender heart before I could go through with it though. There are a couple of other games with somewhat similar situations, and I couldn't do it there.

Storywise John Or Iris will make most sense.
The two to die will be MC and Ethan in a Mexican standoff. Both shoot, both hit, both die. Ethan will be the first to die so you can get confirmation of it before the screen fades to black for the end of the game.
While I suspect it may be John, I hope it's these two will soon take up permanent residence six feet under. It should put an end to the least interesting drama in the game and let us focus on the important bits (making Layla and Elena happy)
