Tell me about it. The only reason it's so popular is because Nyx packed it with an insane amount of sex to make up for the lack of sex in the other storylines. This update was just them having sex and overusing the same step-sibling joke, which doesn't even make sense in the context they were using it.

I thought this was one of her better episodes, i think she's better when it's not her and the MC alone and she has other characters to bounce off on.
This episode she had, her dad, Lakeyin, her mom, Layla which helped.

I do agree that she's quantity over quality overall.

I really hope for the Erynn driving the MC those are some of my favorite moments with her in previous chapters just cause it feels super nice and wholesome. Tho in the context of those scenes he was making sure he goes to school if I recall. But the other thins you mentioned would be nice. Tho if Erynn does end up being an Intern wonder what that means for the realtionship , cause I don't know if the MC can keep his hands off her yet don't want to get her in trouble either.

I find the Gabi path very interesting, and she often takes notice of your flirty actions towards other characters(tipically Layla, they are positioned as rivals).
And she definitely can be one who takes notice(and issue) of your closeness to Erynn.

And that's before the photoshoot starts being shared between students, the MC about to become a school legend lol.

I thought the scene with her cousin Lakeyin in the pizza place when they pretend not know each other was pretty fun.

It could be, but I'd imagine he'd have stalkers, so they'd know them anyway.I reckon I'll handwave it away and ignore the lack of paparazzi because it's a relatively rich town from the careers of the few parents we know.

One of the things I love about Intertwined is how it's setting up some competition or rivalry for the MC with the LI's, we see that especially in this episode.

We see Erynn being reconnected with Zane (Mr Donovan) just after the beach date with the MC. Erynn telling the MC about him being in for a surprise soon, when he jokes about her standing infront of a classroom during the date. I believe the surprise is that she is also going to be doing an internship at his school, just like Zane is doing. This will obviously cause them to be working together, which is certain to cause some major jealousy for the MC.

Nikki moving to Madison Springs, she says that she is probably going to try and find part time work at a gym there. I believe that Zane is gym guy that we see training with Val. We also see Zane say to his friend how he can't stop thinking about Nikki since seeing her at the beach bar with the MC, if you also go on Val's beach date while on Nikki path. I believe that Zane and Nikkis paths will cross at the gym no doubt.

So many developers are afraid to do this IMO, for the player to feel like there's a threat to the MC being "centre of the world" which of course he still is, but a bit of friendly rivalry is a good thing I think.
It also gives a "fuckboy" MC some consequences perhaps? If he is messing around with other girls and gets found out, he see's the girl he's been "dating" ride off into the sunset with someone else.

Yeah me too, I don't like when LI's are acting like Mc is the only man in the world. I mean it's good to have some competition.

I'm thinking I'm a picky little bitch. I just did the Val play-through, and it did nothing for me. MC came off as thirsty as hell, and I prefer Val's tomboy look over her girly look. I appreciate the progress made and the fact that we learned more about Val.
Now, onto the story proper. I believe nothing nefarious happened. I think Val's phone just died, and Ethan did nothing to her due to who her mom is, so he told Zach she'd be a problem.
Here's a random thought that occurred to me. I appreciate that Erryn checked up on MC when she heard about the breakup with Alexis. She was more worried about MC being fine than anything else.

Now, onto Mck Layla.

Layla is a cutie. Where Mira's clinginess was a turnoff, Layla makes it work. There has been no actual progress, and I do not know how the relationship will go, but there is a nice little sex scene. I imagine dating the Monroe sisters will hasten MC's acknowledgment by his father through the barbeque.
Elena's storyline sooked so much. She wasn't even in it. Getting the two best friends back together was important, but Elena could've at least made a cameo appearance.

Normally I'd say those 10 points will nuke you out of the next point check Nyx throws in for Erynn's relationship but Erynn has a ton of points now so maybe it's possible to eat the loss. I actually think Val's points are more critical, she doesn't have near as many and a lot of her thresholds (helping you with Ethan, the mall photoshoot) are extremely tight point wise.

Still feels forced that he setup both dates for the same time... if you we could make this choice earlier you wouldn't feel like such a bad situation.
I also think that despite not handing us an obvious "route closed", it can still change scenes and give you worst options with the girl that didn't go to the beach.

I would also like sometime this week(game time) to have a Mr Donovan class, i think it will be fun seeing the girls swooning over him making the MC jealous lol.

Last but not least, i hope Erynn's internship starts this week already.
Male students thirsty, girls a bit jealous, Erynn interacting with Zane...
And maybe Erynn still wanting to drive the MC after school.
This thing has potential to be so messy and so much fun.

I think it's going to be pretty messy I think, especially because it's been going on for so long.

I set myself up with individual saves for solo runs, but I'm not interested in multi-girl paths unless there's actually a multi-girl relationship on them (e.g., potential Layla/Elena). So when stuff like the finding out phase happens, I want to see it to get all the different drama scenes, but I end up missing them!

Given how is Erynn i think she avoids telling people about her relationship to the MC.
Melissa teases her about it and she pretends to not know what she’s talking about.
I think she’s playing with her cards very close to her chest until it becomes a completely 100% official relationship(which never comes).

Why Alexis doesn't say anything is a bit difficult because if you had sex with her early, the MC becomes something of touchy subject to Alexis.
In this scenario i understand why she doesn't talk about the MC since it's a hurtful topic for her.

Why she doesn't talk in the "never touched Alexis" scenario... i don't really know... still MC was never made officially Layla's boyfriend until this episode... but she could've said something about him hanging out with Layla even if she didn't know the official status of the relationship.

The internship is when things become dangerous, Erynn and Layla will surely take notice of you cozying up to the other...
I suspect many choices where if you kiss/touch Layla... Erynn will be just around the corner.

Like if I didn't play a Val + Nikki path this update I wouldn't have seen the part where Zane talks about Nikki at the beach. It's only a few renders and lines but it adds that little something which feels like a possible upcoming consequence for seeing them both. Zane really fancies Nikki and with the MC messing around with Val behind her back. Nikki also seemed pretty receptive at the bar when Zane was speaking to her, even if he was just being friendly.

I'll leave the messy combos after the game is finished, don't have the patience to do it every time a new update is out to mess with those kinda saves, so I'm just doing solos now. Already have enough saves to maintain as is. After that when I'm bored with those, I'll give in to chaos Until then I'm just satisfied reading about them here.

I think this is where people who love this shit and people like you differ.
What i don't have the patience for is doing a solo for each character, just a couple get my full undivided attention, the others get thrown together on a bus of "just fuck as much women as humanly possible".
And my solos can even include a few slips lol.

If you organize around the Monroe sisters, since they are the combo that is an absolute non-starter... you can knock out most in 2 saves.
For Layla:
Layla, Erynn, Elena and Cara.
For Alexis:
Val, Iris, Gabi and Nikki(plus the toned down SFW version of Erynn).

She's going to knock the MC's head off when she finds out, if the MC has been messing around behind her back. Nikki can be pretty damn scary and she may even add a little poison damage to her attack.

She's 100% going to be trouble once she sees what we are up to...
And i love the poison damage joke, no matter how old i get i'll never be over toilet humor lol.
