Weekend update



Hi all,


it's weekend and I will be busy with personal things tomorrow, so i'll just release the weekend update now.

Things are looking good, just hit 200+ renders for the first part of the game.
Will finish this scene (there are a few dozens renders to do,but they are not so time consuming to set up) and move to the next.
Animations are at 1400+ frames now, but I will probably not use all in the game.

Text is written for this part, needs some polishing and music/sfx.


Still not sure about the cliffhanger for 3.3, as there are a few situations I could use.
But that's a decision to make end of next week or the week after that.

You're right, sorry. I was just reading the thread and saw him post a ridiculous position in some high and mighty moral position. I had to comment on it.

No the dev did not.
Isa is Vic8 with a few body/head morphs, Valerie is a custom Character.

They DO share some assets, like some skin (because the Vic8 skin wasn't good enough and at that time i liked the custom skin).
Reason for this?

Val was never planned as the character she is now. Guess that's how it is if you have a general idea about the story and create the details while developing.

I would do a few things different now, the side characters are one of them.
But it is like it is, even if i would do a reworked version, people will complain "I like the old XYZ better".

For this being your first ever Visual Novel, you are definitely doing a really nice job. I will save my pro's and cons list for a future review though, will give the game some more time to flourish first but I do have quite a positive early impression

A long time ago, i knew a dog that managed to get a rib bone lodged between this upper teeth. He was scrapping at his mouth, bleeding and vomiting. Everyone was freaking out. I reached into his mouth and pulled it out.

A while later he put his head on my leg as if to say "thank you" and laid on my lap the rest of the night. Amazing creatures.

And given the bond he has with Isa it will take some time until he at least accepts you.

Think of Zeus and Apollo (in the original show), just that our Zeus is VERY protective about Isa.
(he never acted aggressive against Alex)

Hi all!


Working on the last two scenes for Chapter 3.2.
I'm not 100% happy with one Scene (Isa), but I need a break from that setup to get some new ideas.

Render count is at 281 now without animations, which is an increase of 60+ renders in one week.
Script is at 900 lines as an initial version, will work through it next week again and send what's done after that for editing/first proofreading.

I've encountered some technical problems (GPU for the display seems to fail) but it's nothing real serious right now.

What I like the most in your game is the fact, that all the females have natural looking breasts and bodys and not so ridiculous big ones like in most of the other VNs.
I really looking forward to the next update !!!

Came across this gem today... I love story focused VNs with a good central mystery. All the characters are really attractive as well, none of them look unrealistic, even the superhot supermodel Isabella still looks human, unlike some other "Bella" in some other game.

Anyone who likes well written mystery thriller VNs that focus on just a couple of (potential) love interests should check Isabella- Dark Paths out! As the very first project by the dev this is more than impressive.

I just hope the MC will not break too many hearts if of when he gets closer to Isabella. I also hope future things like "group sex" or "lesbian" will be entirely avoidable, I don't think it would make sense if those scenes involve Isabella (Alex may be up for that probably though). This game absolutely needs an optional solo path. It would be disappointing to find it railroads you into some threesome in future updates.

Group sex and lesbian will only be between the three main actors (mc, Isa, Alex).
As mentioned before, story lines: Throuple or Alex/Isa single route - but I know what I would choose
