Yes. Very, very early on in development there was a forced scene with Val, but when players complained and explained that they didn't want to cheat on Alex or weren't interested in the first place (I was one of them) BTT quickly made it optional.
So, yeah this is a dev that both sticks to telling his story the way he wants to tell it, but also listens when players have reasonable issues.

I don't remember the Val scene, it must have been before I played the game.
That was not 100% forced, it depended on a decision you made when you first met her.
But it wasn't clear enough that that would lead to a sex scene with Val, so I added a decision before the first Val sex scene.

And not only that... I am sure that none of these people who complain the loudest, have EVER worked on any kind of game or AVN themselves, so they have no idea whatsoever as to how much work it actually is. Of course it is much easier to complain than to actually DO something.

See? The complaints did get dev to deescalate the tension and the strong bleeding hearted MC strong need and relentless desire to bang Alex as his life line, his magnus opus in the hell of his life, to which dev caved - wanna complain about that now?

You are doing wonderfully, badtimetales ! Keep curating the hotties in this game and do not hesitate to give them hot and heavy scenes with MC every chance you get, as complaints about who they are and who MC is deep down keep getting resurfaced and regurgitated ad nauseam in this game thread. Even God had Adam and Eve done to keep company, yet He still had to kick them both out and down to Earth to keep themselves company.
The story has a bias towards Alex for what she means to the MC. I don't find her particularly attractive or someone who I'd actively pursue, but it's difficult to let her go after what she's done for the MC.
As for Isabella, there's a certain lack of depth in her character, something also the author has acknowledged; compared to Alex, she seems more fit for the role of the hot friend who's very close to the MC, but not someone he would consider as a staple girlfriend material, although this doesn't rule out the occasional "one night stand" with her, under certain conditions.
All in all considered, I also don't see Isabella falling for the MC or wanting to whisk the MC away from Alex for egoistic reasons. So, I fear the usual "porn logic" will kick in, sooner or later, to justify the MC ending up in a relationship with her, throuple or not.

I hope not. I hope MC being with Isabella doesn't become a necessity. I don't see Isabelle in that light at all. I know that we're supposed to be getting more backstory on her soon but I don't see that changing anything. At least that's never how it works IRL ("I didn't see you as any more than Alex's friend, who I was indifferent about, but now that I know your story I want to be with you and Alex will have to ride in the back seat.")

I don't know if I fully agree with that , there have been small hints here and there Isa is falling for the MC id say imo. As far as take Alex away well im sure Isa knows or will know that the MC decided against a relationship if on the solo path. So I don't really see any issue there for Isa. The throuple already shown the girls have great chemistry together so far. So I don't really see why or how there would be any porn logic in this one so far. I can only really see porn logic for Val and I guess maybe Isa getting into a relationship before talking to Alex to see if she is okay with it just to speed things along. But only time will tell

There isn't any "porn logic" needed or coming.
On the single route Isa knows that the MC has ditched Alex, they are sleeping in the same bed for some time. (Well, not anymore longer if you ditched Alex)
On the throuple route it's more Alex trying to provoke Isa.
Alex is not the silly little girl and Isa is not the damsel in distress some people think
They both have their problems, but that's to be solved, either together or on a one to one relationship.
