I can speak confidently that Bad has been work (and stressing) about the game, as he and I talk every day... and off and on throughout the day, while he works on the update and I work on mine when he and my wife aren't yelling at me for pushing it (as I am also recovering from reconstructive shoulder surgery 6 weeks ago).

I consider myself fortunate to not only be good friends with him, but I've gotten to see what he's working on... see how his process of doing things for animations are, see snippets of the upcoming storyline and its art, but have also been granted the ability to help with providing ideas, thoughts and suggestions to tweak things some... and, not to mention, have already incorporated some elements of my storyline in his, for a future crossover...

As with any game, the deeper the story gets, the more stuff that needs to be done for it... as previous choices need to be considered and instead of doing one scene, you now find yourself doing 3-6 variations of that scene and each release that number increases with each player choice is made and the story branches out in more ways... so, the updates take more time, particularly when it is one guy sitting at the computer working from nearly sun up and not going to bed till midnight or later (I know, he's six hours ahead of me and I don't log off sometimes till 6pm my time)...

Thing is, he IS working and I do know that he's frustrated at the length of time it is taking him, know that it stresses him out and I am his sounding board and someone he can vent to... but, he's working... and, yeah, there are some interesting things that will be coming with this next update...

Hope that alleviates some concerns some of you might be having... and, no... I won't provide any hints. He may live on the other side of the world from me, but he knows my wife and she will kill me on his request... so, yeah, I need to stay alive long enough to get my game out and don't need to die after suffering from and surviving shoulder surgery!  :ROFLMAO:

Tsss... I'm not yelling at you.
Just telling you you are stubborn.

:ROFLMAO:

And your wife yelling at you... Well. She's right :p

but have also been granted the ability to help with providing ideas, thoughts and suggestions to tweak things some... and, not to mention, have already incorporated some elements of my storyline in his, for a future crossover...

You had some great ideas! Thanks for that ;)

Uhm, well, sun up. No.
I need my 7-9 hours beauty sleep (doesn't help much), otherwise I'm like Alex without bacon on a burger, Zeus without being a doberman or Jinx without being a cat ;)

I won't provide any hints. He may live on the other side of the world from me, but he knows my wife and she will kill me on his request... so, yeah
Your wife has enough reasons to yell at you :ROFLMAO:

Looking forward to work with you ;)

If Isa is having a crossover with those other games, does that mean it's changing genres?

Those other games have satan and stuff in them, so it seems a bit weird imo.

Agreed, his games have a very different theme.

Any of Isa's characters will stay in their role (like Wil being the guy with some important connections who helps to solve a problem/case. Or Zeus biting some ass :devilish:).

While the two games are different and touch on different themes, the stories are able to occur in the same universe without elements of one touching the other.

Without spoiling anything...

This can be done by limiting bleed through of both storylines, by restricting or limiting character crossovers but having a similar instance that plagues both storylines, where the characters of each separate series works to prevent it in their own way.

Also where relationships from previous off screen events can be called upon, as badtimetales mentioned, like a character from my series having had a relationship with one of Bad's characters and requests aid or information assistance for advice and knowledge about a shared situation, object, person that is in both series.

Thing is, Bad and I found a common element from both of our games that will allow a crossover event between both universes without bleed through of elements that would seem out of place or jarring to players of either series. ;) :giggle:

We be creative...

...sometimes. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Is there going to be anything in the other game that I need to know for this one? In other words, if I don't play the other game and I going to be missing information in this one?

Nope, absolutely not.

It's like a guest star appearance from one show in the other, nothing more.

Nope, as badtimetales said, a player doesn't have to play the other person's game if not wanted.

Basically, both mine and Bad's (and a few other creator's games also involved) story share a common individual and group who've been pulling strings in the background (like helping to fund a certain Mayoral Candidate in Bad's game) and although there will be guest star appearances that will take place, those elements and their effects are self-contained in each game and will be handled by the main characters in each game and in their own way.

And, no, before anyone asks (or in case of eyerolls or silent wondering) this has nothing to do with current politics or anything... just think of it as an individual and group (think along the lines of Marvel Comic's: Hydra) who wants powerful players in their pockets, spread out around the world for nefarious reasons, which all of you will be able to uncover and deal with in each affected game... your goal, as the MC's in each creator's game (and what you've been working towards in Bad's game), is to shut them down in that creator's game and prevent them from getting a foothold in that game's location.

For those adventurous players out there who want to, they can go to the other games that also are a part of this and get a little better understanding of the full scope of things and be a headache to that individual/group... but it won't be required to deal with it in the game(s) you don't wish to play.

Hope that helps explain it a little more.

Thanks Jack.

From my side:

I needed one more bad guy with international connections (can't be Wil against some local gangsters only) without having me to create a big backstory or character and Jack (ASLPro3d) had him ;)

His guy will play a role in my story, but the only thing important thing is that he's an important figure and where he comes from.
He will not alter the story or be important enough to explain who he is in detail and what he's doing, but needed to explain some things in my universe.

Can't say much more, as that would be a big spoiler, put be prepared to see the team to be going on a trip to solve some (Isa) things soon.
Like I said before, the game is called Isa for a reason.
