I plan on doing a Val playthrough after the story is fully done.

It's not BTT's fault but she feels like a side character in the story and I'd rather my initial playthrough be fully focused on Alex and Isa. That combined with who Val was in relation to Jennifer...and look, I'm no beacon of morality or anything, but the first time she made a pass I was like, "Really?" So I'll do it but it won't be anytime soon and it'll mostly be out of a desire to 100% the content of a developer I like.

I had that (bad) idea to use Val for the players who are not on the Alex path.
Well, until they had to choose between Val and Isa.

Looking back, that was a bad idea, but I can't change it.
So I'm trying to make the best out of it.

The update is about story progression and Isa character building/background story.

I tried to do the Alex breakup once, just to see it. I ended up rolling back and couldn't go through with it.

The hang ups I have with Val are on me really. I understand your intent and don't really consider it a mistake or anything. I think it would have been easier for me to swallow if she wasn't Jennifer's friend.

oh yeah, the breakup scene was tough, can only imagine how Alex's fans feel, personally I don't think I'd be able to do the same if it was Isa in her place.

That really wouldn't fit, neither with Alex or Isa. "Hey Alex, that's my killed girlfriend boss, I would like to fuck her and you and probably Isa too".
You know what they say about petite girls, knifes and dicks? (Maybe I made this up, but ask Alex )
It's difficult enough to make Alex accept Isa, not bringing Val in there.

So she's a single LI only.

I never had issue with the break up scene on my first playthrough but after that it does become harder to watch. I still do watch it or just skip past it.

Well, for me, it was about the context, she was always supportive - always there for you at your worst, helping you get back on track - so the whole thing felt a bit heavy, and those puppy eyes didn’t help either

That’s one of the reasons I’m not a huge fan of pre-established relationships, - you either cheat or break up (unless you’re playing a mindless fuck-fest), and in both cases someone gets hurt.

Yeah I only like pre established relationships if there is no other LI , sharing games or you break up early on ( tho this can be iffy too one game almost made me drop it because of a break up scene. As I didn't want anyone else after the break up)
