VN Ren'Py Isekai Paradise [v0.6 Patreon] [Soultice]

Haven't finished it yet but I liked it quite a bit. It's a very "harmless" harem AVN in an isekai-fantasy setting that isn't really meant to have a deep and philosophical story. It's just nice entertainment, overall quite wholesome (despite it having some dark themes in the worldbuilding) and just good. Seems like the dev knows what the game wants to be and who this game is for, and is going all in on it.

The only thing that is a point of annoyance for me is that in some scenes, the camera itself moves along with the characters' movements and makes it quite jarring (for example, it's very apparent in the second encounter with the succubus girl, in the city while she's disguised as a human).

EDIT: I take that comment over the shaky camera during sex scenes back. It's fucking atrocious and ruined an enormous amount of scenes for me (btw a positive of the game - it has TRUCKLOADS of scenes, which is awesome. Great models, good quality animations... with ABSO*FUCKIN*LUTELY ATROCIOUS SHAKY CONVULSING CAMERA). I have no idea why the dev chose to set the scenes in that manner. I'd honestly advise he go back and redo every scene. *EVERY. SINGLE. ONE*.

"Oh but it's a lot of work and no one's got time for that!" --- then it should've been done right the first time around. Just fix it now and keep it fixed moving forward please. It's bad. It's really fucking bad, and it's a shame that it's as bad as it is.

Other than that, I don't really have harsh criticism for it. The models are pretty great and the animations are pretty good too.

It has decent internal logic and consistency, at least from what I've seen so far. Some of the jokes didn't land for me, but I still appreciate the effort and the goofiness (in some aspects, gives me some konosuba vibes), and some of the devs references to pop culture were also nice.

I'll be looking forward to more of this, and will be recommending it to folks, with a clear warning regarding the convulsing camera during scenes.

Dev lives on a boat and can't fathom what dry land without swaying is like.

Eh, I hardly noticed it, had to check it after I read your comment )) I guess either you have some motion sickness thing (some people are more sensitive to that stuff) or I'm more sensory impaired than most ). Either way, I hope the dev takes this into consideration and alleviate the issue for the people that have it...it doesn't do anything extra to help scenes, so removing it will either go unnoticed for ppl like me or will help out a lot for people like you.

Daaamn wth happened to the game it wa niche but why is everybody trashing it in ht review. Did dev rly paywall that much (last ver. I played is 0.2).

Damn it had real potential and Mc's ability was certainly interesting... RIP, I can only hope that someday smn willfinally make a good isekai AVN with a leveling system, that is not kinetic, paywalled, or straight up sh1t lol.

This issue is caused because you've decompiled the .rpyc files or unpacked the archive. Just clear your Ren'Py plugin data in the app info — not the JoiPlay data. Also, always make sure to use the latest versions of both JoiPlay and the Ren'Py plugin.

I really hate pussy MCs like this. The bitch kidnaps you, threatens to "make your dick disappear", clearly states she's tortured people to get answers that benefits her before and you just let her go like nothing happened. Even for an isekai porn game, there should be limits for how naive one can be. At least give us the option to kill her or not. I also really hate femdom and am not a fan that it's mandatory and this kind of stuff makes it harder to continue liking the game as I did before, which is a shame because the animations are really good and so are the girls from MC's actual party.

Still don't know why,some Ren'Py 8.3+ games may occur this problem and have to clear all the data of Ren'Py 8.3.7 Plugin for the game to start normally.But some Ren'Py 8.3+ games work just fine.I guess there is something wrong with the JoiPlay and it's Ren'Py plugins.

Maybe he's a bit naive in not wanting to kill her, but like, idk if that scene classifies as femdom. MC basically used the situation to his advantage then fucked her into submission/unconsciousness. Not really femdom xD
Plus we don't know what his plans are for Vega yet. He's at least already shown to have a spine against characters like the succubus and the spirit, so he's not really shown to be a pussy MC. Hell, even in the scene in question, he challenges her the whole way through. Just like he's done with most other combative females. "Oh yea, you wanna control me? Bet, we'll see how you feel after you get this dick" He may be just a bit childish and naive, but he definitely doesn't give off pussy MC vibes.

more to the reverserape side of the first part of the scene and the fact that he leaves like no big deal at the end.

And this makes already 3 girls who follow the same H scene pattern.... that starts to lack creativity...
