No black screen for me, just a popup wanting internet access. Past that, there's a fetchit game... of sorts.

found the problem this is a unicode problem a classic one just change your region language to english

I downloaded and installed VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64 and changed Windows Display Language to English now it starts

Nope still black screen. And since so many people has this problem i have to presume, that you have something specific, or rare to work. Either way the dev must look into it, and either eliminate the requirement, or add it on the game's page.
