I assume your card is just too powerful, and it renders to much frames. Try this:
https://f95zone.to/threads/islandeity-v0-412a-forlorn-faun.107000/post-14404821
I've been using MSI AB and RTSS ever since I got this card, locked it to 60 and yet at both 1080p and 1440p after engaging with the girls in your room, GPU goes from 220W 50-60% to 340W and 100% core usage. Vulkan has slightly worse performance, but it doesn't make the card spike so hard compared to DX11 and 12. Part of the problem is, this is pretty much how Nvidia cards that are on Ampere architecture act under certain conditions, another is just how this game is set up and which post-processing effects it uses under Unity HDRP even if you can disable some of them in the options menu, there are probably others running in the background that don't have the toggle, shadow quality for example. image.png

Well, yeah. Comparing the same "Honey select" that Illusion Soft makes (though I don't know how many people work there) and they kind of make money from it and "IslanDeity" that ONE person makes as a hobby (they won't give much money on Patreon anyway)... It's a strange comparison, isn't it? Compare it to Ubisoft, damn it.
The game depends on the computer hardware. One works badly, another has AMD... The third one is fine . Does the optimization suffer? Maybe. But the game is in development. That says it all, I think. It started, didn't explode - half the job is done :)
The developer does the best he can. We play as best we can. If we can. We describe bugs. What's next? Nobody knows. All questions - to the developer.
Completely missed my point about what I was saying with Illusion games. You don't play those games vanilla, you mod the fuck outta them. In case of HS2 you have Hanmen graphical mods, a pack of shaders and effects that vastly improve the graphics and that is made by a single person in their bedroom and while they make the game heavier, it doesn't suddenly make my GPU spike that hard just by me staring at a character I've made at a distance.

What does this game and the ones I've named all have in common? The Unity engine framework.

I'm not here to suddenly tell the developer of IslanDeity to optimize it immediataly or else, my posts are more in the realm of questioning why it's so heavy at times, which in itself could be a form of bug too. So please, stop having this thought about me questioning the technical aspects of this game as an open attack on the dev, when even if your project is in early access, you should try at least have a look at what could be the problem and possibly have it fixed in the near or more distant future updates. I'd be more than happy to have the dev answer this themselves.

Cheers.

Damn, I always forget that people are different, their needs are different. For some, Tetris is more than enough, for others, "Horizon Forbidden West" (for example) is bad. :D
And about the developer.. "don't shoot the pianist, he plays as best he can ©"

Good thing then that I have an AMD card ;), so it worked for me. At least in a previous version of this game.

My brother in christ the game is still in early development its normal for the dev to fix and rescrap parts he finds lacking and the thing is u are even getting to play it for free tf u complaining about,if u were a patreon and paying money i would understand where u are coming. IMO WE beggars should eat what is giving to us out of generousity without complain :()
funny thing about that, but i WAS a Patreon subscriber a while back, and i STOPPED SUPPORTING HIM because he kept rewriting the beginning and never making any real progress. this has been happening for multiple years by this point.

Changelog is not ready - Not all the new bugs have been found yet. And everyone already knows about the ones that were there before, so there is no point in posting them. :KEK:

In short, as far as I have noticed, the game reacts to extra mouse clicks and if you click more often than necessary, it can simply freeze. Especially when loading/moving to a location. Although... Maybe it just seems that way to me?

that's probably your CPU teletubi

as for the other. there are things that you just can not do like asking about clothing to the girl, and the mouse multipliying thing has a simple solution, don't do it, don't go there, the next event triggers the same (and it's the end of the game anyways)
doesn't matter tho, this was a trap version, the previous was way less broken

"QuadCore Intel Core i3-10100F, 4200 MHz (42 x 100)"
Yes. The processor of my PS is clearly weak for this game. :HideThePain:

It took only 93 pages to find out that the game is buggy regardless of the version. The question is - how many pages will it take to find out what the developer himself thinks about this and whether he has some kind of plan not only for the bugs, but for the game itself.
Damn, sometimes I feel like a British scientist (if you know what I mean)

i'm not english so, no i don't, anyways i'm a click button smasher and it has never freeze or got stuck for that reason, or at least i don't think that has anything to do with it because i have the same issues clicking a lot or just once
also, yea, not a good cpu for this days
