@Runey :
how did you contact them? I just used the form on their website, but i doubt it could proof if they just dont react.
Seems you got feedback from them (email address)
Is it possible to share that email for sending a message with proof?

So.. can someone tell me what games are there illegally? All of them? The only thing I can do is trying to write something, but since I'm not a dev probably they will just delete my mail and go forward with their own life.

But eh, I can try at least.

Best way would be contacting the developers of those games to let them know about this problem so they can contact those scammers themselves... I am going to assume that they speak english since they have those games and even translated them together with some comics from what has been shown here.

I'm not sure if you didn't read my post or what, but the point of my post was to demonstrate that US copyright law doesn't work the way that polywog described it. Intellectual property isn't a race in the US either, at least not more so than anywhere else. It's really not that different from Italy, since the US and Italy both have agreed to the Berne Convention.

The same goes for patents, since most countries, including the US and Italy, follow the .

So, I'm not clear what part you think is "broken" in US law compared to Italy's system, or whether that idea was based on accepting polywog's incorrect description of US law.
I was referring specifically to the US patent system that only relatively recently has started to review some patents for digital stuff that were preposterous. In the old days you could patent with very general wording software stuff to the point that you weren't patenting your software but very abstract notions of operations on the computer. I remember this from a YouTube video about a guy who talked about a time he had to testify in a court case to destroy a copyright. It was some software conference and was pretty interesting.
My memory might be serving me wrong though and I might be misusing technical terms since I'm not a native speaker.
Besides, I was kind of taking for granted what the other user said, even after you disputed it, because at the time I wrote my first reply I did, so I wanted to explain my first reply by referring to the same underlying reasons that motivated it.

I'll agree with this, but this has more to do with the Patent Office being understaffed with people who understand the technology, thus granting patents that shouldn't have been granted, rather than anything to do with problems in the patent law itself.

But back to the topic at hand. I find it rather hilarious how their " " page says to contact supporto@giochipremium.com if "someone was in possession of the copyright of any of our deeds", and yet they block most people who would want to complain from even seeing their website.

If you need to see the site, use the , which anonymizes you enough to access the site.

I agree, I have definitely been imprecise in saying "patent system" without distinguishing the legislative aspect from the administrative de facto state of things.
Though, to be honest, being the USA a common law system we should look at court rulings rather than at the law in the books. If they uphold patents that have been carelessly accepted by the Patent Office then it's the law itself the problem. If they don't, then they are fixing the latter's mistakes and the system is fine.
Last I heard of it it was the Patent Office itself opening procedures to get stuff to court to check, iirc.

I contacted them via their website and they responded with:

Hello, can you send us legal documents attesting ownership of the game? In this case we will be ready to delete it from the site.

What should I send them? I don't think I have anything that proves I'm the owner

More news.

So, the fucking rat bastards over at giochi are so salty that I made them take down my game, that they are now talking to Patreon to get my game taken down.

Thank you Slim.
for what reason should Harem Hotel be taken down from Patreon? i dont see anything like incest, bestiary or other stuff against Patreons ToS

... but maybe you should inform Patreon that they illegal sell stuff from Patreon on their site and also violate copyrights by changing codes and claiming them to be their property

I have contacted Patreon letting them know that I was just informed someone may be in contact with them to shut my game down. I have also told them that I am not aware of anything that is against their terms of service that is on my page, and am willing to do anything and everything to make my page follow their terms of service if need be.

I'm attempting to file a copyright for my Story on Harem Hotel in case it's needed, but this shit is confusing.
