The 2.2 alpha has been updated with some fixes and some adjustments relating to merit. Play-testing feedback welcome.
Repeating the same action on the same day now has the potential to give additional merit instead of only once per day, but repetition of the same activity (even across multiple days) will tend to produce less merit, and may even produce none at all.
Waiting a few days between repetitions of the same task will increase the potential merit. If you notice that she is not feeling any merit in her assignments, you can modify your training method or work on different skills for a while. Sententia Veritas remains an option for times when you must repeat a specific action and you want her to feel merit from it.
Potential merit is now limited by temperament, devoted slaves feel less deserving, spoiled slaves feel more deserving, and slaves who are terrified or who were already rewarded in the same day may have lower expectation of rewards.
Because being spoiled increases the slave's sense of merit (/entitlement), it may be useful at times to mildly spoil a slave if you are aiming to give her higher-tier rewards.
Merit can stack from multiple actions, but it will not stack if new merit is less than existing merit.
For example, if the slave has 3 merit and does something that would independently yield 2 merit, the new 2 merit, being less than the existing 3, will not be added. Therefore, the slave will still have 3 merit. But if a slave with 3 merit does something that independently would yield 3 or more merit, the new merit will be added, and slave subsequently will have 5 merit.
How "daring" a slave has been recently in terms of being willing to do things that require high levels of obedience has an impact on how much merit she will feel from subsequent activities that require less obedience. If enough time goes by without anything very daring being asked of her, she may start feeling more merit again from less daring activities that she also has not done for a while.
For example, she may feel less merit from preparing dinner if she recently participated in a threesome.
Slaves who are devoted may feel guilty if they perform a task poorly, where a less devoted or more spoiled slave in the same situation might feel merit.
As always, mood matters.
Unrelated to merit, training sex skills now has more impact on the master's excitement level.
Options for raising excitement are legion. For example, have slaves perform erotic forms of entertainment, take aphrodisiacs, get erotic massages at the spa, wear the chimaera gem, train sex skills that do not require the master to deplete himself, and improve the master's libido, among others.
