in a normal situation i would agree with you man, but this time i can't. first august, then september, and now october... this became a joke. it's no use increasing the number of episodes to 4, 5, 6, 7 or however many there are if in the end it will always be stuck in 2.

Well I saw that the people here were frustrated with the current news and I only wrote this text to see if it raised the morale of the people. I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t mind waiting, after all we’re getting everything here for free and the most we can do is just wait for someone to send us the animation link. For me it’s a very small price to pay for the animations. I myself was extremely sad about the possible postponement, but the only thing we need to have is patience and for me this is not a problem.

On a positive note - I'm certain Jackerman will deliver in October. He wouldn't cancel a monthly just like that. MW2 is coming October, trust me.

That being said, I can in no way be happy that the last monthly was shit and the monthly coming up is shit. With all due respect to the people who voted for them, Lady D and Dexter's mom ain't doing squat for my D, if you know what I mean.

If my expectations are correct and Madeline Fenton wins next one, we'll have 3 shit monthlies in a row, which on top of this, will be spread across 4 consecutive months of the year.

And on another note - he specifically said that the reason for the delay of MW2 was the monthlies getting bigger and bigger. Well, take a guess why that is - it's because he has to create the requested model from scratch, instead of using the assets he already has. So I'm glad that you are happy we get to witness vampire swine and cobby Cartoon Network characters, but that's definitely not my cup of tea.

At this point, he has neglected characters like Rebecca for a full year. And since he kicked up a devil of a fuss because Coriolan posted 2 fanart pics of her in here, and started going off about copyrights and patents, there's something to be said about false marketing and even swindling when you don't deliver a single piece of content with one of your main characters, that takes up 25% of your Patreon/SubscribeStar banners.

So, while I am remaining a gold member for the near future, and do wish to support the guy, there is a very specific cut-off point, at least in my mind, after which I'm gone and no amount of sweet-talk is going to get me back. And I'm sad to say we are approaching it faster than I would like to...

To be fair, only one guy has attacked Bladee_Runner in all the replies so far, and he is ... a bit extravagant, let's say (the guy throwing insults, that is). I do agree that direct insults like this are a bit too much. We can disagree and still be civil about it.

But ultimately this sort of tension, I believe, is because of how Jackerman's audience has literally exploded in a relatively short time period. Perhaps too much. So we've got on one side people who were attracted to his older works (me being one of them) and all the newcomers, most of whom have probably seen only his latest animation and don't mind experimenting, trying new characters, etc. At some point a clash of interests is inevitable, since everyone is paying the same and feels he should be equally entitled.

Would you be open to me experimenting with body types that are less extreme in breast and butt size, and more focused on shaping? A good example of what I mean is Noname55’s Assumi character. OK, one thing I misunderstood here because I scrolled too fast through the text and didn't check the example mentioned. Apparently, Jackerman's idea is not to start creating flatboards for women, but rather to avoid making them too large (which itself was a result of someone requesting he add FAT to his models' mid-sections in order to make tits and asses less pronounced). Another example provided by Jackerman in later conversation is Blackadder's models (as far as proportions go).

Hey everyone, here’s a big update on a lot of stuff. 1. As it came up recently I feel it’s best I repeat my stance on sharing my characters. At least for the next year or two, I don’t plan to release my character models. I do this so that they don’t become associated with short random porn gifs of varying quality across the net. I want to retain control over how the characters I created are used so that they don’t become some warped version of what I intended. After spending hundreds, sometimes thousands of hours (for Claire) with these characters, I hope people will respect my decision to keep my models private for the time being.

2. I’m finally getting close to where I want to be in blender. I changed up my workflow for porting Daz characters with a more complex approach that's ultimately much more effective. From the last monthly, I also learned how to improve my lighting within the software and achieve a more cinematic result. Here are a few shots of Dexter's mom in blender! You will see her in action on the 30th, played by our friend VoiceLikeCandy !

3. Mother’s Warmth stuff! I’m very happy with how MW2 is turning out, and I’m excited for you guys to see it, but I do have a pretty major issue. As many of you know I’m a full time electrical engineering student (I started a bit late), and classes are back in full swing. I’m fully capable of getting out the monthlies on this schedule but the issue is that MW2 has not yet been finished, and I’m working on both at the same time as my classes. With the winning idea for each monthly consistently growing larger and larger, this is a bit of a scheduling nightmare. What I’m thinking of doing is postponing the next winning idea for the month after October, and finishing this monthly as normal so that I can open a window at the end of October for Mother’s Warmth Chapter 2 to be released. I’d of course alert the Golds several times and happily issue refunds if people missed the messages. I'd hate to do this as it would be 60 days more than my initially planned release date of August 30th, but I need to get the animation released so that I can get back to normal. I don’t want this to become a case of development hell with constant delays so, as some of you suggested, this will likely be what I have to do. That being said, this would be the last possible delay. MW 2 is coming by then, I am absolutely sure of it. I just need the time to polish it up.(edited)

I really don't think Jackerman is trying to scam anyone with MW2... I think hes just being stupid and doesn't understand the repercussions broken promises. When you delay a hyped up project over and over... People stop giving a shit and move on. Imagine if MW2 had come out in August as expected... we would probably be about to see the release of MW3 in the next few months... now even talking about MW3 seems superfluous. The truth is most artists are bad at business and bad at marketing and clearly Jackerman has no idea what he is doing trying to push out quantity over quality with mediocre monthlies that even his beastie fan base probably don't really love that much. I am feeling at the point where whenever MW2 comes out I will grab it and then completely forget about the series as a whole and stop checking updates... and I am pretty sure a lot of others will do the same and just move on. Too little too late, he should have made the move of skipping monthlies when it mattered the most... Instead of waiting for everyone to already be pissed off. I already barely care about MW anymore at this point.

Why should we be happy about the little DextersMom animation?,
The promise was that MW2 would be released at the end of August, then he postponed it to the end of September (where DextersMom should have been published anyway) and now he states its coming end of October.
It's not like he said "hey, I couldn't release Mothers Warmth 2 so you get DextersMom instead"
The plan was to get BOTH videos this month, but he didn't hold his promise, once again.

For a short while it was, because he panicked that you somehow got his DAZ model (or whatever the technical explanation is), so therefore it must be public and now everyone will be able to do whatever he wants with Rebecca (which is ridiculous considering he's not doing anything with her himself).

After it was explained that you created the model from scratch as a fanart and you just shared an image and not any actual model files, he calmed down. But his initial message did make it seem as if he's blaming me for leaking Rebecca, which was a bit rude. I chalk it down to him being nervous for dropping out of deadline for MW2.

Anyways, all is fine now, but the first point in Jackerman's last announcement is directly referring to this "incident". It's funny that he was so touchy for Rebecca, in particular, but had no problem with your renders of Claire.

P.S. You should take it as a compliment that the original creator couldn't tell the difference between his creation and your rendition of it.
