Ohhhh the off-topic thread. Ironic because discussing the fact that MW3 is delayed is very much on-topic.

Whelp. At least he let us know. I'm not even looking forward to MW3. The real tragedy here is that we won't get any new J-man shorts till mid-late 2025 at this point.

Damn Jackerman's main issue is just putting out deadlines that continues to fail deliver on, I thought he put out the end of year deadline as a cushion and instead delayed another 3 to 4 months. The quality will be there and I don't care seeing as I pirate but for his sake he should really stop putting out deadlines.

It would be hilarious at this point if MW3 ends up being bad or even just mediocre (which yes would be a bad thing due to all the delays and how long its taking). I do hope its good even if I personally have no interest in it, but man the backlash would be some great popcorn material.

Well if you can read I am relaxed, all I said was him placing deadlines on himself that he is not sure he can meet cause more problems than leaving things more open ended.

Personally, I don't believe in deadlines that can't be met....in this case at least. I think it's basically about milking. Nevertheless, you have to be fair and say - we want everything for free and the artists simply want the big money. And if I want everything for free, I also have to accept that things often work after the person who wants the money.

Considering how long it takes a shit dev to knock out a couple of frames of animation, It doesn't surprise me that it takes Jackerman's quality a lot longer. It's not like the guy has only done one or two vids, but has done a shit load of content which in terms of animation quality usually wipes it's dick across the lips of the competition. If you're not paying for his work then stay quiet until a project is released. If you're paying and feeling ripped off by his deadlines, then that's on you to get your financial priorities in order.

The biggest problem with Jackerman is that he makes 3D videos of monsters and mother-son incest. This resulted in him having two subscriber groups. All kinds of problems will occur when his heart is more inclined to one side. For example, he actually prefers to make monster content in his heart, but the subscriber group forces him to make incest content. He may not like to do it in his heart but he has to do it. When inner thoughts and physical behaviors are not unified, efficiency will naturally decrease.

At the same time, he spent more than half a year making incest videos. The customer base that subscribed to him because of his monster content may unsubscribe. This is also a problem for jackerman. The combination of various problems creates an endless cycle. Therefore, as an artist, it is very important to focus on one direction for content creation.

Has J-man said this outright? To my knowledge Mother's Warmth is a passion project of his. That's why we the fans have had little to no input into how the thing's gonna turn out.

If he was really just forced to make incest content he could just cut scope and be done with it (which is what I wish he would do anyway)

He likes to make everything really, his only hard no's is gay stuff and monster girl stuff (things like orc types, etc, so something like succubus still work, they have to be somewhat human-like). He's expressed interest in doing futa, small monsters, and hard NTR content, but its hard to when your base keeps voting for the same 3 things (incest that's always mom/son, monsters, and besti).

Now that he's introduced thematic months, whenever the shorts come back we should see some more variety in them hopefully.
