The thing I´m wondering the most is how deep the storyline will dive into the science fiction area or will be just a narrative tool to move the drama foward. And I´ve never really understood Damon and Claire´s dialogue when she asks when was the last time he could cum, like he wasn´t able to until the MW1 events. Maybe that´ll be main issue, who knows.

Haven't they already betrayed his father? Besides the father provides a great cover. She has better a chance concealing the sire of her pregnancy because the Damon's father still very much exists. I could do without it, but if it's included, I wouldn't mind either.
But it’s not what the story’s been about, it’s helping to figure out his condition and how to relieve it. It’s not breaking and running a marriage again, that’s just be redoing tentacular, but worse since it’s not an outsider doing it, but their own child.

I´ve always had this question in the back of my mind:

Considering the MW lore and narrative about the experiment that saved Damon. There´s a section of the MW2 flashback in wich a women so much alike Rebecca appears blured in the background.

And now, more than ever, the last WIP clues that shows medical documents and scientific gear makes me think that: not just it might be her on the flashback but also she might be involved in the experiment´s plot. Especially since she has a lab at home and the tone of the dialogue indicates that she´s about to reveal something regarding the medical procedure that saved his life. View attachment 4226317

What do you think? Has Jack ever mentioned something about this?
Now that's a Jackermommy.

Why would it ruin the marriage? Claire can sleep with her husband regularly, and convince him that it is his. Claire and Damon already bear a striking resemblance, so bearing and birthing a child who looks like Damon wouldn't raise questions. Isn't that the usual plot convenience in subjects of this matter, especially incest fantasies--i.e. "keeping it in the family"?

If the solution is usual, then it’s not very original.

What is? Most of this content operates on disseminating particular narratives and themes, most of which are regurgitated tropes. Speaking for myself, I've seen virtually everything, which unwittingly doesn't give me the credit one thinks. I, do, however think that unusual for unusual's sake doesn't necessarily produce a better product. Some want to be entertained by the illusion of novel ideas, while others don't mind routinely consuming that which they've probably consumed thousands of times before. I mean after all, there's nothing original about the sentiments this content evokes.

In fact, I would argue that the latter is easier to please. It's a paradox: while there are those who claim to want something "new," they will eventually trend backward toward that which they considered repetitive and mundane; or watch long enough until what's "new" becomes repetitive and mundane. Oddly, there's a comfort in repetition. Can't knock that.
