I’m considering getting his SubscribeStar subscription. Does he actually post more or different content there, or is it pretty much the same as what’s on Rule34? or on other websites, Just wondering if it’s worth it.
Considering that the only content he has been posting are texts about postponements, then it's not worth it.

Like you said, people are either to rich or to dumb so lets look at it like this since you seem to have missed my point so i will say it like this.

From the first delay of MW3 he should have PAUSED HIS PATREON. Not just offer to give back money to those who requested his, he should have paused ALL.

Now lets as you say look at this logical. Is it logical to delay a project for almost 3 years? No.

Is it possible for it to happen? Of course.

It is normal to have ZERO communication as to why the delays are happening? No

That is were the biggest issue come from with alot of the complaints people are having, is ZERO communication from his as to why the delays are happening. ZERO updates on progress. ZERO updates on anything around this project.

That is the main issue here. Its like he only post when he is announcing a delay or when he released a minor short which of he has released i think 3 shorts and even then those are few and far between. So far people are paying him for ZERO content.

IF he would release a post explaing the reason for the delays, the zero communication, Something to ease people then maybe he would not be getting so much hate but as it stands now. What ever good graces he had with people is gone.
I've been just as vocal about the delay as everyone... especially his story about having a professional orchestra and movie score. I've also said that in no uncertain terms, his "perfection" translates to either having done nothing, or literally finger-fucking the movie to death.

Also, I've already posted that I don't expect the release date to be this year, and it will be the biggest flop and disappointment imaginable.

I actually work with a rather large number of artists across different creative "disciplines"... which I put into quotation marks because it's ironic that they are the very least disciplined people that I know. Many are 1-step away from the loony bin, and the others are more often concerned and/or depressed with world politics and protests, than getting down to work.

Note: y'all should be a creative director and try to work in Hollywood someday, and you would be amazed that anything ever is finished.

The fact that the Delay is going on a good 3 years is kind of nuts. And even at this point whatever comes out is most likely not going to meet anyone's expectations. I think...sometimes people bite off way too much than they can chew. Try to do too much and then end getting lost in a sea of ideas in which he does not know how to filter them down to a coherent episode. Not to mention the pressure from the subs that have probably made him a pretty nice chunk of change in the long run. It is unfortunate, but in a environment where the money starts pouring in....I think some artist tend to loose their "focus." Now this is where you wish said artist would just be a little bit honest and have some integrity, but you know...there is a long list of content creators out there who will happily take your money for doing very little work in return.

I think that's the worst part: Waiting for so long for something dissapointing. Like, a lot of people are expecting a glorious threesome with both Claire and Rebecca, or something along those lines... But it has been years and the only thing we know about the actual sex in the animation is that there's some titty sucking... and that Rebbeca may not even have any scenes :HideThePain:

I think a lot of people think the animation is the "Hard" part. And do not get me wrong making a Blender animation look good takes some skill. However putting together a full long form story with plot lines and the like is something that you just wake up and be like "Yeah lets do this"

I think with where MW was going dude was probably like "I can turn this until a full multi episode Porn Soap" and decided to go down that path. However, once you do that it is not as simple as you think. A lot more writing of dialogue, a lot more paying of voice actors to speak the dialogue, a lot more character development, which means balancing out sex scenes (less scenes), transition scenes (more of these), and the like (everything in between). And if you are a self described "perfectionist" even worse. I wonder how many script rewrites he did, how many scenes he scrapped because there was something wrong with the color of a shoe or some shit...

The point is he went down this rabbit hole of trying to a longform story bigger than anything he has ever done, and now the situation is kind of a hot mess.

MW3's estimated timeline is now looking like a private release in late November and a public release in December. Around 3–4 minutes of new animation remain with an approximate runtime of ~37 minutes pre-credits. These dates are subject to shift, but we are quite close now.
