This isn’t that uncommon, I can name a couple more projects we’ve been waiting years on, like wildeer’s gatekeeper or Perfectdeadbeat’s Gadabout 2.
Singular animators are gonna take time, they’re doing everything themselves after all.

How long does it usually take Jack to make a video? With this information and the amount of time he has worked at MW, we can know the month when he will make the release.
Ok let's do some math, this dude was able to release a 5/6 minute video each month now the last one was from about 6-7 months ago and considering that he was working on MW3 way before that there's only one possible reason, either the next video will be at LEAST 40 minutes long or more likely he just started milking like many other animators.

Ohhhh the off-topic thread. Ironic because discussing the fact that MW3 is delayed is very much on-topic.
Whelp. At least he let us know. I'm not even looking forward to MW3. The real tragedy here is that we won't get any new J-man shorts till mid-late 2025 at this point.
Damn Jackerman's main issue is just putting out deadlines that continues to fail deliver on, I thought he put out the end of year deadline as a cushion and instead delayed another 3 to 4 months. The quality will be there and I don't care seeing as I pirate but for his sake he should really stop putting out deadlines.

It would be hilarious at this point if MW3 ends up being bad or even just mediocre (which yes would be a bad thing due to all the delays and how long its taking). I do hope its good even if I personally have no interest in it, but man the backlash would be some great popcorn material.

Well if you can read I am relaxed, all I said was him placing deadlines on himself that he is not sure he can meet cause more problems than leaving things more open ended.
Personally, I don't believe in deadlines that can't be met....in this case at least. I think it's basically about milking. Nevertheless, you have to be fair and say - we want everything for free and the artists simply want the big money. And if I want everything for free, I also have to accept that things often work after the person who wants the money.
