I've been just as vocal about the delay as everyone... especially his story about having a professional orchestra and movie score. I've also said that in no uncertain terms, his "perfection" translates to either having done nothing, or literally finger-fucking the movie to death.Like you said, people are either to rich or to dumb so lets look at it like this since you seem to have missed my point so i will say it like this.
From the first delay of MW3 he should have PAUSED HIS PATREON. Not just offer to give back money to those who requested his, he should have paused ALL.
Now lets as you say look at this logical. Is it logical to delay a project for almost 3 years? No.
Is it possible for it to happen? Of course.
It is normal to have ZERO communication as to why the delays are happening? No
That is were the biggest issue come from with alot of the complaints people are having, is ZERO communication from his as to why the delays are happening. ZERO updates on progress. ZERO updates on anything around this project.
That is the main issue here. Its like he only post when he is announcing a delay or when he released a minor short which of he has released i think 3 shorts and even then those are few and far between. So far people are paying him for ZERO content.
IF he would release a post explaing the reason for the delays, the zero communication, Something to ease people then maybe he would not be getting so much hate but as it stands now. What ever good graces he had with people is gone.
Also, I've already posted that I don't expect the release date to be this year, and it will be the biggest flop and disappointment imaginable.
I actually work with a rather large number of artists across different creative "disciplines"... which I put into quotation marks because it's ironic that they are the very least disciplined people that I know. Many are 1-step away from the loony bin, and the others are more often concerned and/or depressed with world politics and protests, than getting down to work.
Note: y'all should be a creative director and try to work in Hollywood someday, and you would be amazed that anything ever is finished.
