I will mention though that Ruby is around 17 when Ironwood "dies" so if this takes place right after that but timey wimey shenanigans happen to keep later volume designs, you can just pull from Volumes 8 & 9 for art references if you ever decide to do an art revision.


I keep telling people Subscribestar is just as valid if not more. They have legal protections put in place that are similar to fan fiction sites.

Patreon dicked themselves over when it came to their policies by not putting in the proper protections and now they basically get bullied into whatever a company tells them to do. Same thing happened with YouTube.


Which is the most common opinion among viewers that aren't rabid shippers.

I will check it out. I went with Patreon cause it was the most popular choice, but I have seen it rapidly fall in quality over the months. I am already considering better options so thanks for the advice

And I appreciate you not mentioning this other game that keeps Ruby's age appropriate but I don't really mind if you mention it. Even tho they are thecnically "competition" seein other RWBY porn games pop out around the same time I was working on my own really motivated me more than anything else, making me feel a (admittedly, one sided lol) rivarly and desire to better myself and my craft. I actually plan to add a special thank to all the peopl that made other RWBY games recently, they really motivated in days when life was so hard that I considered giving up on the project (days that are long gone now, thankfully)

Do you have any idea how infuriating Volume 7 and 8 were!? Over and over and over again we're told Ironwood is some horrible tyrant, some fascistic nutcase on the verge of complete autocratic madness, but every single scene he's in he's completely reasonable!

"Yeah, the situation has changed. I told my top people everything and we're working on a plan."

"Yeah, I know things look bad right now. But this is temporary, we're only redirecting resources from Mantle for a little while so that we can begin the process of killing the genocidal witch intent on exterminating everybody."

"Hey guys, thanks for bringing the important Relic to me. Have your dream jobs and help me protect Mantle so that nothing too bad happens in the meantime, alright?"

"Oh shit, Salem is immortal? And she's here right now?! With an entire army!? Alright, everybody lock in. She's after the Staff which is on Atlas, we've already evacuated a fair amount of Mantle, maybe if we retreat we can survive for a little while longer and come up with a better solution then."

And then the ending of Volume 7 where he shoots Oscar for no goddamn reason and Volume 8... jesus christ volume 8.

Nothing he does in that volume makes any sense. I mean, nothing any of the villains do makes any sense, but Ironwood specifically. In every scene, he just does whatever makes him look the most evil to the viewer, regardless of whether or not it supports his actual goals of acquiring the Relics and surviving.

And my god, the fandom. The fandom. It'd be hilarious if it weren't frustrating enough to make me want to cry. God forbid I disagree with anything the creators do, or else I must be some kind of bootlicking bigotted asshole out to personally destroy Roosterteeth like Doomguy destroys demons. The delusional bullshit I've seen, man.

Yeah they just couldn't handle a morally gre conflict, because that would require to paint their 4 belowed Mary Sue heroines in a partially negative light, so they had to turn the heavily traumatized soldier who was always put in the most complicated and controversial situation into a bidimensional cartoon villain with no depths
