Sorry for the late reply. I didn't follow much on this thread, to be honest.
Feature creep is a term in software development. It means you keep adding features, most of them not used by most users, to the point that the product is loosing it's value. In other words, more is less.
In the beginning, the story had a good pace, things out evolve slowly. The suddenly, a lot of things happen in a very short period. It's exponential, and that rapid pace is killing the story.
Spaghetti is another term in software development, referring to hard to maintain, unstructured code. That's how the story looks at some point to me.
It's not bad to have multiple kinks in one update. But it is if it's killing the story. See feature creep. The last update that I checked when I wrote that, was not very big (of lengthily in story time), but a lot of things happened. Why? Shy do you need to push so many things at ones. Again, more is less.

Hey MoeMoe congrats: the game is coming up very nicely and the polishing and corrections are on point. The Mel developing caught me off guard but in a good way, it was unexpected but i dislike her a lot less.I still can't stand the "therapist" but it is what it is i guess.Penny "arc" is just perfection. Keep the good work mate.
Feedback: Just discovered and played this one. I really liked it. Since u asked for feedback- two things could still need some more work / improvement / polishing imo:
1. Sound/Audio. I don't mind the background music at all during normal reading/scenes, but especially in H-scenes the audio would wastly profit from actual scene-related-audio like moaning, explicit-sounds etc. This would be a real gamechanger. Maybe also a slightly more atmospheric background-music during h-scenes which differs from the two tracks u used.
2. H-Scenes. I really liked writing and animations, but most of the scenes felt really short.

1. I actually have 10 tracks for background music.
The problem with moaning and explicit sounds is the licensing for commercial use.
I'd really love to add moaning etc.
2.Hmm... writing H-scenes is actually really hard for me, sometimes a sex scene costs more time than writing a whole update.
I could make them longer, but for me it would just feel like I'm stretching out a scene just to make it longer and don't add anything relevant to it. Also I don't want to add all my ideas into some big sex scenes where everything is shown but rather spread them into small scenes to make them special throughout the whole story.

I unfortunately did not find the time to start over again. But I really thank you for taking on the huge task to make this great VN. It is really amazing and I look forward very much to dive in again. The music in the menu is already fantastic btw.

But the word count didn't go up because I changed "*sentence*_?" to "*sentence?*" for every sentence and the word count went down because every "?" and "!" counted as words.(That was my mistake because I always thought there was a space between exclamation marks and words.
So this update has story and kinky scenes.
Sarah goes to a shop and gets a lebian scene.
Jamie gets a BDSM scene with Val

The thing is, I think I would've dropped this game a long time ago if there weren't people just telling me they actually play the game and enjoy playing it.

Some of the scenes did seem a bit bright but I kind of like the update. I didn't really see any of that coming. I am not entirely sure what to make of it but I think I like it. It does feel like a whole bunch of things are happening all of a sudden but I am interested to see where it is going.
