I personally think that a dev should have a clear vision of what he wants to do and then more or less stick to that unless there is really a significant number of people complaining.
Your story is pretty much exactly what I like to see, because I want to make that little sissy suffer. I personally hate tattoos, but nut so much that they prevent me from enjoying this.

Apart from not being a Fan of AI because it uses the creative work of other humans who never got anything in return, I am personally pretty indifferent.
The way Disciples od Virgina uses it in Holly smiles at the end is genius imho. Their game is about the psychological aspects of transformation and they use certain songs to really mindfuck the player.
But I think your VN is more light hearted and in general more about pleasing the audience. So I guess you are thinking more about "normal" music, correct?
In that case I understand that you would like to use it to increase the production value.
