I truly appreciate the tremendous effort @Lexie lecoeur has invested in this game. Customizing RPA for JAS is no small task.
One could also look at it from a slightly different angle. Renpy team worked hard to implement in an open fashion a "skip text" function into their engine that provides value to players who wish to use it. Dev worked hard to... undo all of that? To implement a design that is actively user hostile?

Not all effort is useful effort, as feedback in this thread shows.

I really liked the animation style. At one point, it suddenly switches from real life to the animated world. The story is engaging so far — who knows what will happen in episode 2.

Amazing graphics, the best game that is truly worthy of the 21st century, and every choice actually matters. It’s a shame there’s only one like this so far! I’m waiting for similar titles, because 80% of what’s out there is still mediocre.

i downloaded the original version here, finished it, then i saw the demo on steam, started it, and immediatly bought the game (at least the ep 1) i loved the changes, for those who complain about the no skip buttom, just finish the game then you can skip it in any replay, or simply press the space bar faster ... no big deal, i like the use of IA to improve the original Daz art, now since i already know half of what happen on ep 2 im waiting to see what comes next, keep the good work :D

I’m going to add something that matters to me, and then you’re free to keep bashing the game or the way I do things.
But know this — this version is the Steam version, intended for the Steam audience, most of whom didn’t know me and hadn’t discovered JASON yet.

I don’t know who uploaded this version here — it wasn’t me.
Just like I wasn’t the one who added the “Complete” tag — but I’m the one who removed it.

I’m not stupid; I know which version was here before, I know exactly where I had stopped, and I had planned — as I’ve always done — to provide you with a compatible version at the right time.
But as usual, steps were skipped, people complained, and criticism started flying.

No one asks any questions.
Hey, I delete an NTSF_pack.jas file and suddenly the game runs without the videos… how strange! “The dev must be an idiot,” right?
Maybe the dev actually planned the code to run both with and without the AI animations?
Maybe he had a version without the cartoon posters that Steam forced me to include?
Maybe he was planning to make the game freely available?
But no one bothers to ask.
Yet when it comes to jumping on me and throwing insults, no problem!

Go ahead and keep defending your own little patch of ground — you’re right to.
As for me, I’m defending mine.
With this last move into censorship, you crossed the line.

We are done.

Decisions we make often earn us Praises or Criticism. My opinion does not matter, However the criticism I am reading has been fully earned on your end.

So i have to agree with others that this version is bof, useless RPG stats (don't know what they will be uselfull for even on later versions); sandbox/free-road at the start, locked skip option (no it don't break the game or the interaction/animation), thx for the one who posted the "patch" to enable it back, so many useless (imo) posters/full body up&down animations who add nothing to the both the story or the game.
"AI" pictures/animations isn't that bad compared to others games hosted here, haven't found weird looking teeth/fingers, only the "Cum pouring" on the Li face who seem to literaly ooze from under the skin or the precum overflowing every time a cock is out of the pant even if flacide, all in one it's one of the best "AI" use so far.

According to the Dev (i will give him the benefit of the doubt ) this version wasn't mean to be posted here, & honnestly i fully understand why, this version just look like a bad parody of the original, add nothing to the story, bring useless features/mechanics.

So will wait for the Official update to know if this game is worth to keep following or if it's time to mourne what could have be a very good game before his fall.

Good luck Dev, you will need it more than ever.
