Yes, it is mandatory, and the no way case occurs exactly when you run out of pills. There are also some bad endings when they catch you if the pill is not taken. It was an alert about this when player chooses Etienne or Gilles first time. If they do not provide the pills, you will be catched or come to the dead end.

We'll I hope the dev decides to have a sort of regression mechanic where if you don't take it, the effect of the pills reverses slowly. With that said, in the intro it's mentioned that the effect would last at least a month so there's also othat.
So you get caught regardless of taking the pill or not? The game is complete or just a placeholder ending, for now?

There is 2 endings for now. Good and bad. You can fight and win and get a good ending.

I think going to prison is supposed to be it's own storyline and not just a bad end over time.
For those trolls who love to pop in on these forums to kink shame...there is an EXCLUDE feature on the LATEST UPDATES page. If you never want to see a particular tag, then simply toss it in EXCLUDE section of the search page. It's really easy to then make a bookmark to that and you never have to see that type of content again....and the rest of us don't have to endure your trolling.

Look, I'm a degenerate: I see sissification/feminization themes, I'm obliged to play it. Those are just the rules, rules that I am very happy to follow.
Overall, it's okay: Very, very basic gameplay loop with the tavern job that makes me feel like I'm playing a NSFW clicker game (which is a garbage genre, 2/10, would not recommend), inconsistent media which breaks immersion greatly (hello Gandalf, I love it when you appear in my porn games, looking at me with those eyes that are just filled with shame, contempt, and disgust), and a combat system that just feels unnecessary. Still, I've played a LOT worse games in the past and this offers a legit ending, at least. An ending that doesn't really feel like an ending, granted, but it's something.

As a developer people constantly talking about version numbers like they truly mean anything is quite annoying to say the least. Typically, 0.1 is the first alpha release, so any content changes beyond fixes would bump it up to 0.2, so if the version number were 0.8 (saw 0.08 somewhere) that would mean they added at least 8 conversations worth into their game.
Also, 1.0 does not mean its finished, it means its not an early release.
And even then, some developers choose to name their first public release 1.0!
Mind blowing, I know!
Also an additional thought, when adding in traditional engine or feature releases on top of content changes, that means you might actually have a version number per feature added, meaning potentially multiple minor release numbers changing with zero content updates! This part doesn't really apply as much to HTML or RenPy games, though I guess features do technically get added to them.

As to me, I suppose that 1.0 is a full game, so 0.8 means 80% completed. Since 2 endings from 3 are reached, it is an alpha.

My opinion is, the game has a good start and i hope to see it develop more.
That's not how it works, fam. 0.8 means that it's the eighth update (most were likely made before posting here, probably getting the loop/gameplay/interface right, adding/correcting text, inserting images, etc. so the game was in a playable state before posting), not that the game is 80% complete. I've seen games that are on v. 0.15, 0.21, 0.45, etc., and no, it didn't indicate percentage of game completion.
