You've clearly gone off on a tangent here. The OP said Stoper should hire another artist so that the project will go faster, presumably so OP may himself have the game more quickly.

I suggested supporting Stoper on Patreon if his grand plan is for Stoper to just pay for other artists to increase his output. Seems only fair seeing as Stoper is just one person running what is ultimately a business, that a patron of the business pay for a fraction of the operating costs.

You have then strode in like the white knight you mention to kick off about how that wouldn't increase Stoper's output whatsoever. I agree with the sentiment that hiring another artist won't help with the game, as Stoper is clearly a high level artist and will struggle to find someone else to work on his project, rather than their own or for a significant price.

Why this game isn't more popular and hasn't more patrons?

1. Lack of promotion and marketing:

- It would be easy to say that this game isn't more popular because it hasn't incest and has a female protagonist, but some other games have those same qualities and they receive a lot more patronage. That's the case of Fashion Business. Why is that? Despite of the differences in popularity in F95ZONE are not that huge, FB is above 4M views and this one is above 3M, the differences in Patreon are enormous: stoper has 420 patrons and decent-monkey has 1528 patrons, almost 4 times more. And the earnings could be 6 or 7 times more, DM offers an extra version only for patreons and he has patreon levels till $50, stoper only till $25.

One of the reasons is that meanwhile DM has a webpage of his game and has a russian public which download it in russian forums and web pages too, it seems that JOHN is promoted almost only here, depends mostly of this thread. And stoper doesn't seem to pay too much attention for increasing its visibility. The game is translated into spanish, great. But is it reaching the hispanic public? Is it being promoted in hispanic sex game forums? Are there a big hispanic sex games public? We already now that the russians are a huge public, an investement in a russian translation would be proper.

- Stoper doesn't show preview renders of the updates. Why? Meanwhile DM shows one preview render of the next update per week, stoper only shares random images. I have read comments like: "Seeing those previews I'm decided to become a patreon". Besides, showing previews mantains the public hooked in the story, they will make comments in the thread about that and it will be more active, then more views, more new players. - Stoper underestimates basic things like how is the game presented to new players. The selection of previews is poor too, only four random images and they don't tell you much. Basically you are not creating expectation through them. All of that is perfectly on point, I've always asked why hasn't the op been updated since the start of the game itself to show all the spicy stuff but instead still has the same random 4 images, changing or adding some spicy images in the op will go such a long way to get new people interested in the game on first glance.
Then when it comes to actual update previews, they would go a long way getting people excited for the update and would end any kind of frustration people have regarding update time or update delays, because you at least know what you're getting instead of waiting half a year with no knowledge or idea of anything.
